Hogwarts: Voldemort, don’t stop me from studying

There were blank spaces on the parchment, as if the writer was in a dying state and couldn’t finish the important words.
Wade used a copying spell to preserve this conversation. Dumbledore looked at it for a while without saying anything. Suddenly he stood up and tapped the wall with his wand.
Several portraits hanging on the wall immediately slid to the sides, and the old headmaster in the portrait complained: “Dumbledore, am I an eyesore?”
“I’m sorry, Moore,” Dumbledore said gently, “I need a little more room.”
The wall began to flow like a lake, creating ripples, and then a clear world map emerged.
Dumbledore looked at the map, pondered for a moment, and then asked: “Wade, what do you think?”
“I checked this imitation friend book and found that the spell on it was a bit strange. Then I remembered that this was a plan I had abandoned.”
Wade spread out the fake friend book on the table and gently waved his wand, causing silver or golden rays of light to fall on it.
An ordinary wizard would not understand what he was doing, but Dumbledore raised his brows slightly.
Even without special vision, he could sense the subtle difference.
“Very interesting…” the headmaster said as if talking to himself, “Its associated magic seems to be different from the one you used.”
“Yes.” Wade said, “Muggle mobile communications require base stations as communication exchange centers. I originally wanted to set up a similar base station for the Friends Book, so that there would be no restrictions on the number of connections. As long as a specific number is entered, a message can be sent to anyone.”
“It sounded good,” said Dumbledore. “But then they gave it up…”
“In this way, the messages in the Friends Book are first sent to the base station, and then forwarded to the receiving end by the base station – so the base station can monitor all the information and even modify it to a certain extent – so this design was abandoned by us.” Wade said.
Marchionne is a pure businessman, not the CIA, and has no interest in monitoring all wizards.
Of course, more importantly, this kind of magic cannot be hidden, and alchemists with a certain level of skill (such as graduates who can obtain an alchemy certificate in NEWTs) or superb magicians (such as Dumbledore) can discover it.
Dumbledore said, “So you believe that Ms Skeeter’s message was censored?”
Vader nodded: “We cannot rule out the possibility that this is the enemy’s bait.”
“Indeed, it is a good thing to be cautious,” Dumbledore praised, and then said: “But don’t worry too much, Wade – I’m with you!”
Wade was speechless at first, then he smiled: “That’s true.”
“Let’s go, then. I hope we won’t delay your class.” Dumbledore said lightly, “Remember to bring that brave owl with you.”
“Yes.”
Wade returned to the dormitory and took the cage containing the heroic owl. The skinny owl, which had been flying hard for a long time, was sleeping soundly.
He was about to go out when his shoulders suddenly felt heavy.
Wade turned his head and saw his own Ava staring at him angrily. She made a humming sound in her throat, as if accusing him of looking for another owl, and her sharp claws were dug into his clothes.
“Not a letter today, good girl.” Wade put Ava back on the shelf and said, “I need it to lead me to someone.”
Ava didn’t know if she understood, but she turned around silently and pointed her tail at Vader.
Wade smiled, pushed the door open, and met Dumbledore, who was wearing a crimson traveling cloak, on the green outside the castle. The two of them came to the outside of the school together.
Behind them, Hagrid pushed the door shut.
“squeak–“
As the hinges turned, the oak door rubbed against the ground, making a long sound.
Wade turned around and saw the tall castle shrouded in mist, with shadows that seemed far and near, like a painting.
The owl was awakened. It flapped its wings and looked around in panic. Wade hurriedly fed it some owl food and whispered soothing words to calm it down.
It lowered its head and pecked Wade’s finger gently, its big eyes looking very clear.
Dumbledore held out his arms and said, “Well, let’s go.”
Vader grabbed his arm and muttered, “I must learn to Apparate as soon as possible.”
He had planned this a long time ago, but was always distracted by other things.
Dumbledore said casually, “I can teach you when I get back – if you don’t mind taking one more course. I know you’re very busy now.”
Before he finished his words, the two of them teleported at the same time, and in an instant seemed to pass through a very narrow water pipe, and then squeezed out from it with a “bang”.
Vader took two quick breaths, then quickly asked, “Is it true, Professor?”
Dumbledore couldn’t help but smile: “Of course, as long as you are free.”
“Of course I am free! I have all Sunday available.”
Wade said hurriedly, urging Dumbledore with his eyes to set a specific time.
“Then I will come to teach you next Sunday at nine o’clock in the morning – remember, don’t tell anyone else.” said Dumbledore.
“understand!”
Wade said happily. After finalizing this matter, he finally had time to look around.
They were now on an empty and lonely island with jagged rocks. In the relatively flat areas there were some abandoned stone houses covered with green moss.
There were patches of farmland surrounded by stone walls on the hillside nearby, which were also overgrown with weeds.
Diagonally opposite there is a protruding stone cliff with a strange shape, like a giant lying in the sea, with only its head exposed, and its face looking up at the sky blankly.
“What is this place, Professor?” Vader asked.
“St. Kilda in the Outer Hebrides,” said Dumbledore. “When I was young, I was exploring the Calasia Stonehenge in search of ancient wizard relics. I came here once, when the village was still inhabited.”
Wade looked at the desolate stone houses and rotten farm tools and was secretly shocked.
It looked like this place hadn’t been inhabited for at least a few decades.
Of course he knew Dumbledore’s age, but he often didn’t realize that the old man was born a hundred years earlier than him.
To put it in perspective, when Dumbledore was born, the great Eastern country was still ruled by the Qing government, the Sino-Japanese War had not yet broken out, and scholars still had to take part in the imperial examinations.
I instantly felt the gap between the times.
Dumbledore didn’t notice Wade’s distraction. He was looking down at the owl dangling in the cage. Apparently, the first space transfer was equally uncomfortable for the birds.
Wade opened the cage, held the owl in his arms and stroked it. After it calmed down, he said, “We need to find the person who asked you to deliver the letter to me – you know where she is, right?”
“Goo-“
Owls are very smart birds, and this one is particularly human-like. It hooted softly, and Wade actually saw fear in its round eyes.
“Don’t be afraid.” Wade comforted him, “You don’t have to get close. It’s enough for you to show me that place.”
“Huh?” The owl tilted its head and looked at him.
Wade turned to look at Dumbledore: “Headmaster, you know, right?” He paused and added: “-I am an Animagus.”
Dumbledore did not look surprised, but praised: “A very beautiful peregrine falcon. As far as I know, very few wizards can transform into birds.”
“You really do know.” Wade sighed, realizing that this was why the principal brought him along. Then he asked curiously, “What about you? You too?”
There are currently only seven registered Animagus wizards in the world, including Professor McGonagall. Their names have been mentioned repeatedly in the magazine “Transfiguration Today”, and Albus Dumbledore is not among them.
But Dumbledore was once the best student at Hogwarts, professor of Transfiguration, teacher of Minerva McGonagall, and the greatest wizard in the world. No one would believe that he was incapable of becoming an Animagus.
Ordinary wizards might think that Dumbledore was not interested in this kind of magic that could transform into ordinary animals – after all, Animagus could not transform into powerful magical creatures – so it was understandable that he did not practice it.
But Wade felt that it would be difficult for a wizard who pursued magic not to be interested in this process of complete change from appearance to mass, from cell structure to muscles and bones.
Facing his curious eyes, the headmaster just smiled, then took out his quill and whispered: “Bosetus.”
This is a spell that turns ordinary objects into locators. Although simple, it is not easy to cast successfully.
The strange green light flashed and disappeared, and the quill pen returned to its ordinary appearance.
“Keep it safe.” Dumbledore handed it to Wade and said, “Bend it hard and it will activate.”
“Ok.”
Wade did not dwell on the previous question. After putting the quill into his pocket, in just a moment, he skillfully transformed into a peregrine falcon and circled in the sky.
“Huh?” The owl was so frightened that it almost fell down. It flapped its wings twice to stand firm, and then flew up.
Dumbledore squinted his eyes and looked up, only to see the two birds circling in the air for several times, as if they had reached a preliminary communication, and then flew westward one after the other.
Free, confident and brave.
The ancient Egyptians worshipped the falcon as the god Horus, regarding it as a symbol of royal power and the protection of the gods. The Eye of Horus would also protect the dead from harm on their way to eternal life.
Ancient Babylon had the image of a lion-headed eagle, the mark of the Roman legion was a double-headed eagle, the Sassanid Empire had an eagle emblem, the Russian national emblem was also a double-headed eagle, and the American national emblem was a white-headed bald eagle.
There are about twenty countries in the world that print the image of the eagle on their national emblems or national flags. People regard this celestial bird as a messenger of God and a symbol of power.
But the real falcon is a free bird. It never lives in a group and disdains to be ruled. It is brave and fearless, and very loyal to marriage.
Dumbledore felt that of all the wizards he had ever met, no one was more suitable for the animal “eagle” than Wade.
Before Vader’s Animagus was complete, Dumbledore had secretly wondered what animal he might become.
The old principal considered for a long time between sharks, sea snakes, falcons, peacocks, wild horses, cats, and scorpions, and finally felt that the falcon was the most likely.
The fact was just as he had guessed, which made Dumbledore feel secretly happy.
The figures of the two birds gradually became smaller and merged into the high clouds.
Dumbledore stood on the edge of the cliff, his crimson cloak fluttering in the sea breeze. Some seagulls were flying nearby, making loud and high-pitched cries.
……
It feels very strange to fly over the sea.
The view seems to be infinitely vast, and the sea and the sky are integrated into one. Even though there are sometimes low-lying clouds of changing shapes around us, there is still a feeling of being unable to tell the direction.
Vader didn’t know whether this was because he had human thinking or if all peregrine falcons were like this.
But the owl seemed to have a satellite map in its mind. It flew in a certain direction very firmly, as if there was a string pulling it.
Vader followed it closely. In the seemingly endless sea, this magical bird always found a place to rest, sometimes on a small isolated island, sometimes on a human cruise ship, and sometimes even on a whale floating on the sea.
They flew intermittently like this. Wade put a lot of food in his pocket, and magic could also summon clean water, so the man and the bird always maintained relatively abundant physical strength.
Until an island that looked quite large appeared at the end of the sight.
The owl stopped far away and landed on a green ocean buoy, using its whole body to indicate that this was the place Vader was looking for.
But when Wade wanted to get closer to observe, it spread its wings and blocked the way, making loud, intimidating noises.
Wade guessed: “Can’t get close? Is it dangerous?”
