Chapter 261 is being read by many people.
The elevator was quiet; neither of them spoke.
The man's gaze shifted from the mirror to the back of her neck.
The stray hairs there weren't combed properly, with a few strands sticking up.
When the light shines on it, it appears as fine as down.
Su Wuli felt as if those few strands of hair had been twisted.
It's a little itchy.
He raised his hand to touch it, but all he touched was air.
Yu Chen did nothing; he simply stood there, his gaze passing through the mirror and landing on her.
Su Wuli stared at her own reflection in the elevator door, then at him.
His face was blurred in the mirror, only his eyes were clear.
It was pitch black, like a passage in a secret room with no end in sight.
She looked away and stared at the floor numbers.
The numbers jumped up and down.
Su Wuli had never known that the elevator moved so slowly.
He was looking at her again.
She held her breath, but her chest still heaved uncontrollably.
Su Wuli used her peripheral vision to look for his eyes.
Unexpectedly, two pairs of eyes collided in the mirror, like two snakes entwined together.
She stepped aside first, turning her head to face the elevator door.
I saw my ears were slightly red in the mirror.
Yu Chen still didn't say anything.
The elevator finally opened with a "ding".
Su Wuli walked out with a hurried pace.
Yu Chen followed behind her, his footsteps very soft.
Press your finger on the fingerprint lock.
"Beep"
It's not open.
Su Wuli was taken aback when she saw this, and pressed it again.
It's still not open.
My palms were sweaty, and my fingerprints were covered by the sweat. The sensor was flashing a red light.
Just as she was about to wipe her hands on the hem of her clothes, Yu Chen pressed himself against her from behind, his chest against her back.
His heartbeat could be heard through two layers of clothing.
Yu Chen grasped her right hand, turned it over, and rubbed his thumb against the pad of her index finger from top to bottom.
His hands were warm, and when they brushed against her skin, they took away the thin layer of sweat.
Su Wuli lowered her head, watching his fingers slowly rub against her fingertips, round and round.
Then I pinched her fingers and pressed them onto the sensor.
With a "beep", the door opened.
Yu Chen did not back away.
Her back was still pressed against his chest, and her fingers were still being held by him and pressed on the doorknob.
His thumb gently rubbed against her fingertips.
Su Wuli's head rested against his collarbone, her whole body enveloped in his embrace.
His breath came down from above her head, pressing down on her so that she dared not move.
"Go in," a deep voice said.
Su Wuli's breath hitched, and she didn't move for a moment.
He didn't urge her, and released his hand from her fingers.
Su Wuli opened the door and took a step forward, and he followed suit.
The entryway light was off, and the door was closed behind me.
Darkness surged in from all directions.
She instinctively reached for the light switch in the entryway, but just as her fingertips touched it, Yu Chen reached out from behind and grabbed her wrist, stopping her from turning on the light.
Su Wuli withdrew her hand, and he released her wrist, wrapping his arm around her shoulder and around her waist.
His chin rested in the hollow of her shoulder, enveloping her completely.
"You look great in red today."
His lips brushed against her earlobe, his breath tickling her and making her flinch.
"I'll prepare a few sets for you when I get back."
Upon hearing this, Su Wuli's face immediately flushed.
She turned her head to avoid him, but his chin moved with her, preventing her from doing so.
"I'll turn on the light—" Su Wuli's voice was soft as she reached for the light switch again.
He took her hand again, pulled it off the switch, and intertwined his fingers with hers.
"Tonight, in the secret passage." Yu Chen's lips brushed against her earlobe, his voice deep and mellow. "You walk in front of me, your skirt brushing against my boots."
His large hand moved up from her waist, his fingertips slowly brushing against her through her clothes.
The movements were slow, as if recalling the dark path in the secret passage.
"That's what I wanted to do back then."
Upon hearing this, Su Wuli's breath caught in her throat.
The man followed her in the secret passage, as quiet as a shadow.
Suddenly, her back pressed against the wall in the entryway, and the cold seeped in through her clothes.
The man's body pressed against her immediately; it was burning hot.
Ice and fire met on her spine, and her legs felt weak.
A large hand slid down her side and supported her.
"In the secret passage, I wanted to pin you down."
Yu Chen's voice was close to her neck, and his lips brushed against her skin.
"I endured it all night."
After he finished speaking, he slipped his hand under the hem of her dress, his palm resting against the skin of her waist.
The thin calluses on my fingertips brushed against my skin, leaving a rough, almost unbearable feeling.
Su Wuli bit her lip to stifle her voice, but blurry images of the secret room flashed through her mind.
Just as her thoughts were drifting, Yu Chen picked her up.
Her back was against the wall.
This posture reminded her of the narrow passages in the secret room, and of his hand that reached out just before she stepped on a mechanism.
Just as she turned her head, his lips followed, kissing her from the corner of her mouth to her chin, and then from her chin to her neck.
One stroke at a time, slowly and steadily.
Like footsteps following behind her in a secret passage.
"Hold on tight," he reminded in a muffled voice.
Su Wuli instinctively obeyed and hugged his neck tightly, pressing her face against his shoulder.
The living room lights were off, and the curtains were drawn tightly shut.
Even after my eyes adjusted to the darkness, I could only make out the outline of his shoulders.
"It's too dark..." Su Wuli said, her breath unsteady.
"Hmm." Yu Chen simply responded indifferently, without any intention of turning on the lights.
With vision removed, bodily sensations become more acute.
Every movement of the finger was crystal clear.
Su Wuli wasn't sure if she had made a sound; it seemed like she had, but it also seemed like she hadn't.
"Um--"
But a large hand covered her mouth, the palm pressed against the lower half of her face.
Shh, be quiet, lots of people are watching.
Um?
Su Wuli's consciousness was led astray by him, even though there were only the two of them in the apartment.
The doors and windows were all tightly closed.
But when Yu Chen spoke, his warm breath brushed against her ear, making her feel that those unseen gazes were truly there.
Her eyes welled up with tears, not because she felt wronged.
It's about endurance.
His fingertip brushed against the corner of her eye, and she bit her lip, swallowing the last sound.
My throat felt tight when I swallowed.
In the darkness, she couldn't tell how much time had passed.
It felt like being in a locked room, with the door behind you opening at any moment.
It seems that only this small area is safe.
She buried her face in the crook of his shoulder.
Breath sprayed onto her head, hurried and disordered, overlapping with the silent shadow in the secret passage.
He felt his lips brush against her ear and he heard her whisper something.
Su Wuli shook her head in shame and buried her face even deeper.
She secretly thought to herself, "He was the one who told her to keep quiet earlier, and now he's the one who wants her to speak."
You can't see what's happening in the darkness, yet it seems like everything has happened.
"Go back...to the bedroom..." Her fingers gripped the back of his collar, her voice breaking.
