With Li Yang’s current level of cultivation, it won’t take long for him to get back to the Wuji Sect.
After resolving the Li family’s issues, it was as if a layer of dust had been removed from his soul, and Li Yang’s soul warrior cultivation improved greatly.
He had a feeling that his martial soul “Dharma Form” was about to condense!
Step forward.
When the first rays of morning sun shine on these peaks, the whole world seems to be lit up instantly. The soft light is like a golden veil, gently draped over the shoulders of the peaks, adding a touch of dreamy color to their already beautiful outlines. Looking from a distance, the peaks are rolling, some towering into the clouds, as if they are about to connect with the sky; some are gentle and beautiful, just like a beautiful woman standing quietly, standing gracefully on this vast land.
On the top of the mountain, the vegetation is lush, and it is a vibrant green world. The tall trees are like the guardians of the mountain. They are upright, stretching out their thick branches, supporting a rich green shade. The pine leaves are needle-like and evergreen. They sway gently in the breeze, making a rustling sound, as if they are whispering an ancient ballad. And those unknown broad-leaved trees change colors in different seasons. They are fresh and green in spring, emerald green in summer, golden and brilliant in autumn, and slightly bleak in winter, but also have a unique charm. They are intertwined with the grass and vines in the mountains, forming a rich picture.
Walking along the winding mountain trail, you can feel the beauty and aura of the mountain up close. Along the way, the springs are gurgling, and the clear spring water gushes out from the cracks in the rocks, jumping and rushing down the mountain. The spring water sparkles with silver light under the sunlight, like tiny diamonds scattered on the ground. Bending over to scoop up a handful of spring water, the cool feeling instantly spreads throughout the body. The water is pure and sweet, as if it carries the aura of the mountains, nourishing people’s hearts.
The wild flowers in the mountains are also an indispensable part of this beautiful scenery. They are scattered or blooming in patches, red like fire, pink like clouds, white like snow, colorful and vying for beauty. Some petals are delicate and tremble gently in the breeze, like a shy girl; others bloom passionately and unrestrainedly, showing the vitality of life. These wild flowers complement the surrounding green trees and grass, making the whole mountain full of rich colors and fragrance.
As you climb higher, the clouds and mist gradually linger. At first, there are only a few faint wisps, floating between the mountainside like a veil, adding a mysterious hazy feeling to the mountain. As the altitude increases, the clouds and mist become thicker and thicker, and in a blink of an eye, the entire mountain is shrouded in it. At this time, the mountain seems to be in a fairyland, looming and dreamlike. The clouds and mist shuttle and flow between the peaks, sometimes like a turbulent sea, sometimes like a light and elegant ribbon, with endless changes, making people sigh at the uncanny workmanship of nature.
Standing on the top of the mountain, the magnificent view is even more shocking. The continuous mountains extend under your feet, all the way to the distant horizon, blending into the blue sky and white clouds. Looking down, the villages in the valley are like scattered pearls, and the curling smoke rises, adding a bit of human fireworks to this quiet land. The breeze blows on your face, bringing a hint of coolness, and it seems to bring the whispers of the mountains, telling the stories that have happened on this land and the changes it has witnessed over the years.
These beautiful and spiritual mountains are not only a visual feast given by nature, but also a place for the soul to rest. When we are in them, the hustle and bustle of the world will gradually fade away, replaced by inner tranquility and peace. They make us feel the greatness and magic of nature, and also let us understand that in this complex world, there is such a pure and beautiful place waiting for us to explore and protect.
Each mountain has its own unique temperament and story. Some mountains are famous for the poems left by literati. The poems engraved on the stone walls are still clearly legible after weathering wind and rain, as if telling future generations about the feelings and pride of the literati when they climbed the mountains and stood by the water. Some mountains are circulated with mysterious legends, saying that there are immortals practicing here and elves playing here. These legends add a layer of mystery to the mountains, and make people more awed and yearning for them.
In different seasons, these mountains will present different styles. In spring, everything comes back to life, and the mountains are like a new layer of green. The mountains are full of the breath of life, birds sing, bees fly, and the scene is full of vitality. In summer, the trees are shady, and the mountains have become a summer resort. People come here to enjoy the cool mountain breeze, listen to the gurgling sound of water, and avoid the heat of the city. Autumn is the most gorgeous season for the mountains. The maple leaves are like fire, the ginkgo is golden, and the whole mountain seems to be a palette overturned by nature, colorful and beautiful. In winter, when snowflakes fall, the mountains are covered with silver, like a pure ice princess, quiet and beautiful. The ice hanging on the branches forms various strange shapes, making people feel like they are in a fairy tale world of ice and snow.
Li Yang walked back and came to his own luxurious palace which seemed like a hidden wonderland.
Dignity and excellence are evident everywhere here, and more importantly, every design and every furnishing here has extremely significant benefits for cultivation.
This residence is located in a valley full of spiritual energy, surrounded by lush ancient forests. The trees are tall and luxuriant, with branches and leaves intertwined, as if they have formed a huge green umbrella for the world. These trees are not ordinary things, they are all spiritual plants, absorbing and exhaling spiritual energy from heaven and earth day and night, making the concentration of spiritual energy in this valley several times higher than that of the outside world.
The main part of Li Yang’s residence is a magnificent pavilion, which is made of an extremely rare spiritual jade ore. This spiritual jade ore itself contains rich spiritual energy. Under the sunlight, it will refract colorful light, like a dream. The exterior of the pavilion is carved with exquisite patterns. Those patterns are not just for beauty. They are either ancient runes or mysterious patterns containing cultivation methods. Whenever Li Yang practices, his eyes inadvertently sweep over these patterns, and he can draw a trace of inspiration from them, which plays a subtle auxiliary role in his practice.
Entering the pavilion, the first thing that comes into view is a spacious and magnificent hall. The floor of the hall is paved with smooth pieces of spiritual crystals, which emit a soft light, illuminating the entire hall as bright as day. What’s more amazing is that the light emitted by the spiritual crystals contains pure spiritual energy. When Li Yang walks or rests in the hall, this spiritual energy will slowly penetrate into his body, nourishing his meridians and Dantian, allowing him to continuously accumulate spiritual energy and improve his cultivation even during his daily rest.
There are precious scrolls hanging on the walls around the hall. These scrolls are all from the hands of famous artists, and the contents depicted are mostly related to cultivation. Some scrolls show the spectacular scenes when ancient powerful people break through the realm. The majestic spiritual power fluctuations seem to be gushing out from the scrolls. Every time Li Yang gazes at these scrolls, he can feel a strong spiritual power, inspiring him to keep moving forward on the road of cultivation. Other scrolls depict various rare spiritual herbs, spiritual beasts and mysterious places for cultivation. By observing these scrolls, Li Yang can gain a lot of knowledge about cultivation resources and environment, and provide more ideas for his future cultivation journey. Through the hall, there is a winding corridor. The railings of the corridor are made of a rare wood called “Lingxi Wood”. This wood is not only hard in texture, but also has special spirituality. When Li Yang strolled on the corridor holding the railing, he could clearly feel a warm spiritual power passing through his arm into his body, nourishing his body and mind like a trickle. There are exquisite spiritual lamps hanging on the top of the corridor. These spiritual lamps do not burn ordinary oil, but a precious liquid called “spiritual marrow liquid”. The light released by the spiritual marrow liquid when burning is extremely bright, and the spiritual energy is rich, so that the corridor always maintains a bright and spiritual atmosphere. Li Yang often performs some simple cultivation movements in the corridor, using the abundant spiritual energy and unique atmosphere here to consolidate his cultivation.
Walking along the corridor, we came to Li Yang’s practice room. This is the core of the whole residence. The door of the practice room is made of a huge “Heavenly Shield”. The “Heavenly Shield” is an extremely powerful defensive magic weapon. It can not only resist external attacks, but also prevent the leakage of spiritual energy during practice. Entering the practice room, the first thing you feel is a strong spiritual energy blowing in your face. The concentration of spiritual energy here is much higher than that in the hall and corridor.
The floor of the practice room is a huge spiritual formation, which was arranged by a master with great resources and energy by Li Yang. The function of the spiritual formation is to automatically absorb the spiritual energy in the surrounding valleys and transform it into the most refined form, and then continuously deliver it to Li Yang in the practice room. In the center of the spiritual formation, there is a cushion carved from “Hunyuan Lingyu”. Li Yang sits on this cushion every time he practices. “Hunyuan Lingyu” itself has a powerful spiritual gathering effect. Sitting on it can allow Li Yang to communicate and integrate with the surrounding spiritual energy more smoothly, greatly improving his practice efficiency.
The walls of the practice room are inlaid with countless “spiritual source beads”. These “spiritual source beads” are mined from some ancient spiritual mines, and each one contains a huge amount of spiritual energy. When Li Yang practices, these “spiritual source beads” will release light and spiritual energy, which will echo the spiritual energy delivered by the spiritual formation on the ground, forming a richer and purer spiritual energy environment, making Li Yang feel as if he is in a sea of spiritual energy, absorbing and practicing to his heart’s content.
In addition to the main building, there is also an exquisite garden in the backyard of the residence. Various spiritual herbs and flowers are planted in the garden. These spiritual herbs and flowers are not only of great ornamental value, but also of great benefit to cultivation. For example, there is a spiritual herb called “Ningshen Grass”, whose fragrance can make Li Yang more focused and calm during cultivation, eliminate distracting thoughts, and improve concentration; there is also a “Gathering Spirit Flower”, which can automatically absorb the surrounding spiritual energy and gather it around the flower. When Li Yang approaches, he can easily obtain these extra spiritual energy to help his cultivation.
There is also a small pond in the garden. The water in the pond is not ordinary water, but a specially treated “spiritual spring”. The spiritual spring water is rich in minerals and spiritual energy. Li Yang often practices breathing exercises beside the pond to absorb the spiritual energy in the spiritual spring water. At the same time, he uses the spiritual spring water to wash his meridians, making them more unobstructed and conducive to the circulation of spiritual power during practice.
After returning to the sect residence, Li Yang first reported to the sect master and the elders, and then Li Yang began to devote himself to comprehending the Cao family skills he had acquired.
These skills are like the backbone, providing Li Yang with a lot of inspiration for mid- and low-level skills.
Based on these inspirations, Li Yang made subtle adjustments to his own strength again.
As the spiritual power continued to flow along the new route, Li Yang gradually felt that the spiritual power in his body seemed to have a qualitative change. They were no longer loose and weak as before, but began to gradually condense and form a more refined spiritual power group. When this spiritual power group flowed in the meridians, the light it emitted was brighter than before, as if it was a lit star, shining with the light of hope in Li Yang’s body.
Another key point of the Cao family’s practice is the integration with the spiritual energy of heaven and earth. It requires practitioners to completely empty their minds when practicing, and feel the fluctuations of the spiritual energy between heaven and earth in an ethereal state. In accordance with this requirement, Li Yang would find a quiet place every day, sit there, abandon all distractions, and try to immerse his mind in the surrounding environment.
At the beginning, it was difficult for him to catch the subtle fluctuations of the spiritual energy of heaven and earth. He felt as if he was in a silent darkness, without a trace of light. However, after countless attempts and patient waiting, finally, on a breezy morning, Li Yang felt the soft spiritual energy of heaven and earth brushing his body. He was overjoyed and hurriedly followed the guidance of the exercises, trying to merge these external spiritual energy of heaven and earth with the spiritual power condensed in his body.
The fusion process was not smooth sailing. The spiritual energy of heaven and earth was extremely agile and difficult to control. It seemed to have its own will and was unwilling to easily merge with the spiritual power in Li Yang’s body. Li Yang guided it again and again, and tried to adjust the fit between the two again and again. Sweat kept rolling down his forehead, soaking the ground under him.
But hard work pays off. After a long and difficult run-in, Li Yang successfully achieved the initial fusion of the spiritual power in his body and the spiritual energy of heaven and earth. At that moment, he felt a great force pouring into his body, as if he had established a close connection with the entire world. His meridians continued to expand and strengthen under the impact of this force, and some of the originally blocked small meridians were also opened one by one under the action of this powerful energy.
“Huh, now I have finally reached a large part of the limit of the rules of this world.”
After completing a new practice, Li Yang smiled with satisfaction. (End of this chapter)
