Warhammer: Angron Training Manual
Chapter 613 Infighting
Chapter 613 Infighting
“It’s all here.”
Qin Xia gently held the Soul Stone above his head and observed the Soul Stone in the light.
There is a lighting device in the Dark City, which releases the same light as a star. The light passes through the Soul Stone, and countless souls turn into spots of light shining in the Soul Stone.
The souls of tens of thousands of dark elves reside in it, waiting to be dealt with by the owner of this soul stone.
An ordinary soul stone could never hold so many souls, but this was a gift from Uslan. When the two entered the webway and headed for Comoros, the old prophet gave this special soul stone to his comrade.
Thinking about the origin of this soul stone and the personality traits of its giver, Qin Xia couldn’t help but suspect that the soul stone given by Uslan had a “back door”, for example, the soul in it could be stolen by Uslan as easily as taking something out of his pocket.
But no matter how many times Qin Xia perceived and investigated it then or now, he could only confirm that this was a soul stone that could accommodate many souls.
“This thing is a gift I prepared a long time ago. I had planned to use it to let you contain the soul of someone you cherish.”
“Don’t worry about me doing anything.”
Uslan suddenly teleported behind Qin Xia.
The old prophet was holding a pocket cosmic device in his hand, which looked the same as the artifact of the Ancient Spirit Empire hanging around Qin Xia’s waist.
Qin Xia only needed to take a glance to know that Uslan must have searched for a lot of good things in Comoros.
Actually it is not.
The pocket universe in Uslan’s hand only contained Evereene and some like-minded people he searched for in Comoros after teleporting Evereene away from Angron. There were really no good things like relics of the ancient Eldar Empire.
“I won’t tamper with the soul stone.” Uslan held up the pocket universe device. “There are some dark relatives of my race here, as long as you don’t take them away.”
“Some people from Comoros will join the Army of Death.” Qin Xia looked away from the pocket universe. “I know these things, so if you choose to take some of your dark relatives with you, I won’t stop you.”
“This is taking into account your contribution.” Qin Xia said again.
Wu Silan put away the pocket universe device, smiled, and his eyes fell on the soul stone in Qin Xia’s hand: “But I still want to talk to you about their souls.”
“Do you want to take the souls in here away?” Qin Xia asked this with a grim look on his face.
“At least to keep them out of the hands of Prince Pleasure.”
The Prince of Pleasure is another name for Slaanesh.
The Eldar people did not dare to call Slaanesh or Shalish directly, so they used the term Prince of Pleasure to refer to Slaanesh.
Wu Silan saw that Qin Xia’s face looked even worse, but he continued, “You have a strong desire for revenge, so strong that you are willing to give Prince Joy a gift in order to avenge these scums.”
“I do have a strong desire for revenge.” Qin Xia put away the soul stone, flipped his right hand and grasped the spear made by the original body out of thin air.
Uslan put the scepter in his hand back behind his back and took off his helmet, indicating that he had no intention of confrontation and was just talking.
“When the fleet attacked Comoros, I used my psychic vision to observe this damn place, and I saw many things that even Angron could not see or perceive.”
“The humans killed by your dark kin are lucky, compared to those captured.”
“The captured people either became slaves, or became entertainment tools in the arena, or became consumables for the Haemolects’ experiments.”
“Some of them are children.”
Qin Xia paced in front of Uslan. His tone was not passionate, but the latter could feel the resentment in his words.
“These children were made into living decorations…”
Qin Xia paused for a few seconds before continuing.
“The kind with self-awareness and senses…”
Uslan closed his eyes and bowed his head in silence.
But what the old prophet did at this time was just a show in Qin Xia’s eyes.
“I will throw their souls into the realm of Slaanesh, even if it makes Slaanesh happy. This is what they deserve. They deserve to be in purgatory.”
“You’re telling me now that I’m too vengeful… How can you say that? You might as well just come and rob me!”
“You can say that because you are an Eldar, a noble and superior species. In your eyes, we humans are just an inferior race. We are dead, so what? Not only do you think so, but even your fellow survivors who are running around in a broken ship have the same idea!”
Uslan listened silently and shook his head to reject Qin Xia’s speculation about him.
He didn’t really think that humans were an inferior race so it didn’t matter, he just thought it didn’t matter so it didn’t matter.
“I am only trying to persuade you because I am considering some things that may happen later. If you don’t agree, then we won’t mention it.” Uslan no longer had any ideas about the Soul Stone.
Qin Xia stopped pacing and stared at Uslan’s eyes, leaning on his spear. He suddenly became calm and composed.
“Don’t think about Inad anymore. I’d rather complete a few trials than help you go to Slaanesh to grab the Crone Sword.” Qin Xia said, “Besides, how can you believe that Inad can kill Slaanesh with one sword after his birth? Your Eldar God of War Cain and Lord God Asuryan are both being played around by Chaos like toys. What can a death god like him be capable of?”
If we answer the question alone, Uslan can explain: concept.
As a race with strong psychic talents, the Eldar had a history where major events would cause waves in the warp. It was not impossible for Inad to kill Slaanesh with the hatred and death power generated by the fall of the Eldar. But Uslan knew that Qin Xia knew this, so Qin Xia just didn’t want Inad to be born.
The Eldar are threatening in themselves, and an Eldar with a god who is more reliable and more capable than the Laughing God is even more threatening.
“Whether the God of Death can be born is not the key, but to form an armed force that transcends the boundaries of the Craft Worlds.” Uslan said, “A large group of people are gathered together around the belief in the God of Death, and they can cooperate with each other no matter which Craft World they come from.”
“When faced with certain issues, our tribe will no longer be a group of scattered individuals with different opinions.”
“Even… this armed force will not only include the Eldar of the Ark, but also the Eldar of the Savage World and the Comorians, such as the relatives I took away.”
“I will use this to complete the integration of a species, just like your human emperor established an empire, so that the entire human race can sacrifice for a common goal.”
As Uslan spoke, he gradually fell silent, because he felt that Qin Xia must be thinking: It would be better to let Inad be born.
“When I found Victor and the others, I discovered that they were fighting among themselves.” Qin Xia suddenly spoke.
“Aren’t we the same?” Uslan sighed helplessly.
“Don’t say that, you really shouldn’t say that…” Qin Xia couldn’t help but agree.
But at least the two will put their dispute aside for the time being.
“Are you planning to leave now or stay and do something?” Qin Xia asked.
“I will stay and serve as your war advisor for the time being.” Uslan had already planned, “After the armed forces centered on the faith of the God of Death that I mentioned are established, I will become a bridge of communication between our two races, and everything I do is to accumulate credibility for myself.”
Qin Xia did not refute.
On a macro level between the two races, Uslan has certainly established credibility, and he’s done far more than he did in the original Horus Heresy.
“Thank you anyway,” Qin Xia said.
Uslan nodded silently, turned around and disappeared in the light released by the portal.
……
The Emperor’s battleship, Bosafalos.
Jaghatai met Angron on the hangar deck.
The Custodes and the Mechanicus Skitarii immediately stepped forward to take away and resettle the civilians behind the Primarch. Some of the priests began to check the weapons for the Blood Drinkers and change their Terminator power armor.
Looking at the fact that only a few million people were left out of a population of tens of billions after their disappearance, Chagatai sighed.
Only humans were brought onto the mothership. Those alien warriors who had fought alongside Angron had already been settled by him. The way he settled them was to find a way to get them a ship and let them leave the webway through the portal in the center of Comoros.
“Damn aliens,” Angron cursed, entering the corridor leading outside the hangar deck.
“We have no chance of occupying Comoros, let alone destroying it. Moreover, this is a hub city of the Webway, with many connections. We must use the Webway for faster-than-light travel, so we cannot destroy Comoros even if we have the ability to do so.”
Chagatai mentioned the current situation as he walked.
“It doesn’t matter, as long as Comoros can no longer escape from the fleet and run along the webway to the outside world to plunder.” Angron was open-minded. In the previous battle, he had already sensed how huge Comoros was.
The Dark Eldar even believed that even if they completely lost all their fleets and armies, the remaining people would be able to survive in their corner of Commorros until the heat death of the universe.
Not to mention there are webway gates all over Comoros.
But Angron could fully accept this result. Without a large-scale fleet, a conspiracy group could only gather a thousand people at most, and they would be dead if they encountered the garrison of a planet.
“I didn’t expect the Webway plan to succeed…” Chagatai suddenly sighed.
Angron sensed what his brother was thinking before Jaghatai spoke.
When Chagatai first heard the Emperor mention the Webway project, he did not think it would succeed, because he knew some information about the Webway and knew what kind of legendary project it was.
Angron nodded, indicating that he had indeed not expected this.
Especially after Vulkan came back from Terra and told us what the Webway Project was like…it was even more unexpected.
“The entrance to the Terran webway was maintained by the Emperor’s psychic energy,” Chagatai continued, “He said that he would retire after everything was settled. Unless the webway entrance can function normally without him, otherwise…”
Angron thought along the lines of Chagatai’s thoughts.
Chagatai had no idea what his brother was thinking, he only heard Angron let out a slight sigh.
The two Primarchs stopped discussing anything and Chagatai quickened his pace to the command deck.
Angron stopped and looked around.
When the Primarch looked towards the shadow in the fork on the left, a smile appeared on his face.
