The Strange Tales of Tokyo Monk.
Chapter 267: Mahaparinirvana Sutra
Chapter 267: Mahaparinirvana Sutra
What should I do?
When the car drove about 800 meters, he and Pinggong Qianye, who were sitting in the back seat, pulled away from each other and leaned against Qingxuande on the left window. His whole body became weak again, he lost all strength, and he collapsed helplessly.
She still couldn’t get too far away from Weilian Ancient Temple.
Qingxuande was so exhausted that he had difficulty speaking. His eyes were shining with light. The look he gave made Pinggong Qianye think of a homeless puppy in need of help on a snowy night.
“Restoring the form of the Light Lamp may allow you to temporarily escape from this restriction.”
Pinggong Qianye thought for a while, came up with a solution, and gently placed the palm of his right hand on Qingxuande’s forehead.
A pure Buddhist power flowed along Qingxuandeng’s forehead, entered her body, and circulated back and forth.
Qing Xingdeng emptied his mind and silently visualized the original appearance of his body.
Her body gradually emitted golden light, gradually became transparent and illusory, and finally turned into a bright lamp that was always offered before the Buddha.
The power that had been lost for no reason returned to his body, and Qingxuande regained his spirit.
“You, thank you for your help.”
Qing Xingdeng’s voice was a little hesitant, but he still said thank you.
“This form is also good.”
Pinggong Qianye nodded, held the handle of the bright lamp with his left hand, and stroked the handle with his right hand.
“Ah! No! Don’t!”
Qingxingdeng’s embarrassed and annoyed voice came from inside Guangmingdeng.
“I am now the light of light, and the handle is made of my feet…”
Qingxuande didn’t finish his words because those words were too embarrassing.
“I see.”
Pinggong Qianye put away his hands, with a strange look in his eyes.
If the handle is the feet of the Qingxuande, then the connection between the handle and the lamp stand is the waist of the Qingxuande.
The lamp stand is the upper body and head of Qingxuande, and the light source is the heart of Qingxuande.
What about the lamp wick where the handle connects to the lamp stand?
Suddenly I have a feeling that I should not look at or think about anything inappropriate.
Pinggong Qianye focused his eyes mainly on the lamp stand and turned the handle, causing the lamp stand covered with lamp paper on all four sides to rotate gently.
As the lamp stand rotated, the Buddhist scriptures and mantras written by him personally on the lamp paper seemed to turn into golden spots of light, and were about to fly out from the lamp paper in the next moment.
That was the trace of his initial transformation of the Qingxuande.
It just seems a little imperfect at the moment.
Originally, he drew Buddhist scriptures and mantras in order to suppress the Qingxuandeng and prevent the flame in the Guangmingdeng from suddenly going out.
The four sides of the lantern paper were not fully painted, and an area was left empty on each side.
Originally, he thought that if Guangmingdeng acted like a demon again, he would have to paint four statues of Vairocana Buddha.
“I will draw four more Vairocana Buddhas for you.”
“do not want!”
Qing Xingdeng refused outright, for she was afraid that something unexpected would happen to her because of Pinggong Qianye’s actions.
It was because Pinggong Qianye transformed the green lantern into a bright lantern and left Buddhist scriptures and mantras on the lantern paper that the bright lantern gained intelligence and allowed her to be resurrected.
She was afraid that she would become a real Buddhist woman.
“The Light Lamp is your true body. If it can evolve further, your strength will also be greatly improved.”
“…But…can you guarantee that there won’t be any more accidents?”
Qing Xingdeng replied timidly. Pinggong Qianye did not answer, and he really could not guarantee it.
Although doing so would probably be a good thing for Qingxuande.
Let’s wait until the problem of the Snow Girl is solved before thinking about this question.
Moreover, just painting four Vairocana Buddhas would be too monotonous. You could consider writing a few Buddhist scriptures.
Now the lamp of light already has infinite light, all it lacks is great compassion.
“Mahaparinirvana Sutra”?
In this Buddhist scripture, all sentient beings have great compassion, the Buddha has great compassion, and he has compassion for all sentient beings like Rahula.
Bodhisattvas and Mahasattvas cultivate loving-kindness, the Buddha’s loving-kindness covers all sentient beings, and they always seek compassion for sentient beings. The great compassion of the Tathagata is called Buddha nature.
This sutra also contains content related to Nirvana.
Reborn from the ashes, like a phoenix rising from the ashes.
These statements are all related to flames, which is very suitable for the existence of the Light of Light. In addition, the Light of the Blue Path has experienced the cycle of life and death, extinction and rebirth, and this process is Nirvana.
Thinking about it this way, there is no Buddhist scripture more suitable for Qingxingdeng than the Mahaparinirvana Sutra.
Thinking of this, Pinggong Qianye looked at the lantern paper more seriously.
Carefully plan the blank spaces on all four sides of the lantern paper to see where to start.
“You, don’t mess around!”
Qingxuande, who turned into a bright lamp and had his feet held by Pinggong Qianye, was a little panicked.
She could feel that Pinggong Qianye’s gaze towards her was becoming more serious and passionate.
This monk must be thinking about doing something to me!
Mitsuhide Akechi, who was driving in front, stared at the road ahead while secretly pricked up his ears to eavesdrop.
The content of this chat is becoming more and more explosive.
Who knows, the next thing the Buddhist woman would say is, “No, you’re so annoying!”
“Don’t worry, I won’t do anything rash.”
“No!”
“Don’t worry, this will definitely do you no harm.”
Qing Xingdeng became more and more panicked, and cried out with a faint cry: “You are such a disgusting person!”
……
Sakurajima volcano is located in the southern part of Kagoshima.
It is connected to the Osumi Islands in the east and separated from the Kinko Bay in the west. It is about 4,000 meters away from the center of Kagoshima City, and is surrounded by Kagoshima Bay on both the north and south sides.
Unlike the dormant Mount Fuji, this is an active volcano that has just become active.
In July this year, Sakurajima volcano erupted once.
At that time, the volcanic ash column alone was as high as 4400 meters, and the billowing black smoke almost buried most of the sky over Kagoshima.
At this moment, the thick smoke in the sky of Sakurajima Volcano has gradually dissipated.
A ray of newborn sunlight shone through, and the sky here condensed into ice crystals, sparkling and exceptionally bright.
The top of Sakurajima Volcano was covered with white ice crystals at some point.
The icicles rising from the ground, with their spikes pointing straight to the sky.
Like a bunch of ice swords, they are deployed in battle array, waiting for the opportunity to soar into the sky.
There is ice but no snow here; not a single snowflake can fall.
“That’s Sakurajima volcano.”
After driving all night, Akechi Mitsuhide arrived in Kagoshima and stopped the car temporarily.
Sakurajima Volcano is not too high, with an altitude of about 1000 meters.
Hiramiya Chiye got out of the car and through the telescope in the car, he could vaguely see something abnormal on the top of Sakurajima volcano.
The towering icicles there were definitely not due to the gradually colder weather.
But the Snow Girl left it there on purpose.
The purpose is to point out the right direction to those who are willing to help her.
A very smart approach.
This also indirectly proves that even though the Snow Girl was taken to Sakurajima Volcano by the Seven Sins, she did not completely lose her ability to resist.
She is safe for now.
After a short rest, Akechi Mitsuhide washed his face with the mineral water in the car, wiped it clean with a tissue, and then continued to drive Hiramiya Chiya and Aoandon to the foot of Sakurajima volcano.
Because of the volcanic eruption in July, the main roads leading to the top of the mountain were closed, some of the surrounding residents were evacuated, and the houses were empty.
Hiramiya Chiye and his group arrived here at around 10 o’clock in the morning. Besides them, there were many other mountaineering and photography enthusiasts nearby.
“I’ll take you here.”
Akechi Mitsuhide stopped the car and said goodbye to Heimiya Chiya.
Although he also wanted to go up the mountain to see the world, the next people they would face were the Seven Sinners, and if he followed, he would only become a burden.
Pinggong Qianye glanced at the top of the mountain, holding the bright lamp, and walked towards the top.
