This is the essence of the Enlightened One.

After becoming Enlightened Beings, no matter whether they were carbon-based organisms or mechanical life forms before, they will become some kind of conceptual existence.

The corresponding concepts will distort their bodies and turn them into entities that completely fit their own concepts.

This is the true effect of consciousness-distorting matter, and it is the transformation that countless enlightened people seek.

In the group of God-Slayer civilization, only those who have transformed into a collection of concepts are qualified to call themselves “Enlightened Ones.”

However, this transformation, which is extremely valuable for the enlightened ones, is a huge torture for Tathagata.

While evolving those cosmic concepts and laws of order, Duobao Tathagata’s own power was also being deprived bit by bit.

The body disappears, the spirit transcends…

Duobao Tathagata could feel that he was becoming part of a larger concept.

That is the most original “one” in the universe, and also the heavens and all worlds themselves.

Truth, Nirvana, Root, Great Way…

No matter what outsiders call it, it does not affect its essence.

[No… I am Duobao! I will always be Duobao! ]

As Duobao Tathagata was about to be assimilated, a blue lotus blossomed from his body.

With the help of the power of the lotus, Duobao Tathagata finally woke up from his understanding of the Great Dao, and with a look of horror on his face he wanted to reunite his body and spirit.

He does not want to be part of the Tao, nor does He want to be an extension of the truth.

Duobao Tathagata is not the enlightener of that group of crazy people. He still has attachment to this world.

In other words, Sakyamuni had already realized the truth tens of millions of years ago, but was always unwilling to take the final step to become the Great Way.

After all, Sakyamuni and Many Treasures Tathagata are different.

As one of the strongest men in the heavens and all worlds, as long as He Himself does not want to, not even the Heavenly Father can shake His will.

Each Heavenly Father’s path is unique and a miracle that cannot be replicated.

Even though the Heavenly Father has not yet been born, His very existence has already touched upon the truth of the universe.

Shakyamuni knew this better than anyone else – to deal with something like the Three Corpse Demons, just one Guangchengzi is enough.

“Thief Baldy, it’s time to return the things to their original owners!”

At this moment, the unicorn, which had withdrawn from the battlefield at some point, crossed over.

Appearing in the center of the world of Possa like a giant god, the one-horned green bull stood opposite to Sakyamuni, and did not hide his contempt in his words.

“Donor, you are joking. You can take this golden lotus back anytime.”

Shakyamuni did not get angry because of the words of the unicorn, and took the initiative to give up the lotus platform he was sitting on. In fact, Shakyamuni originally wanted to return the golden lotus to Yuanshi Tianzun.

However, Yuanshi Tianzun rejected Sakyamuni at the last moment and said that someone else would take the golden lotus.

Therefore, when the one-horned rhinoceros tried to force its way into the Possa world, Sakyamuni knew that the other party was the “other person” mentioned by Yuanshi Tianzun.

“You are indeed much smarter than Guangchengzi.”

The one-horned rhinoceros looked at Sakyamuni with some surprise. He didn’t expect that the other party would return the golden lotus so easily.

“In terms of wisdom alone, Guangchengzi is far superior to me.”

“I have practiced for so many years, and the only thing I am proud of is this concentration.”

“Even so, I have coveted this golden lotus for tens of millions of years, but I just didn’t take that last step!”

After really giving up the golden lotus, Sakyamuni seemed to reveal a bit of relief between his brows.

As Sakyamuni himself said, the only difference between him and Guangchengzi was that he did not have such a strong obsession and did not take that last step.

“Humph! You have more wisdom than desire. This may be your biggest shortcoming!”

Without further conversation with Sakyamuni, the moment the one-horned rhinoceros took the golden lotus, he was sucked into it just like Duobao Tathagata.

“The Buddha gave up the ‘Golden Lotus of Merit’ so easily?”

Silently, Maitreya Buddha with a smile on his face appeared beside Sakyamuni.

With the appearance of Maitreya Buddha, other Buddhas who had left incarnations in the Vaiśravaṇa world also appeared one after another.

This even includes ancient Buddhas from several kalpas ago such as Amitabha Buddha, Dipamkara Buddha, Vipaśyin Buddha, Sikhin Buddha, Viśvabhu Buddha, etc.

“What is merit?”

“Merit is contentment, it is the fruit of good deeds, it is what people desire.”

“How can a mere golden lotus be called a ‘merit’?”

As he chatted with the Buddhas with a smile, Shakyamuni’s tone seemed very calm.

“The essence of the golden lotus is one-third of the Great Celestial Venerable. Although it possesses supreme power, it also gathers infinite cause and effect.”

“The Great Celestial Venerable is immortal, so who can escape the cause and effect?”

“The so-called killing of the three corpses and severing the cause and effect is ultimately in vain!”

“Even as powerful as the Taoist Lord of Dao, couldn’t he only escape temporarily with the help of Guang Cheng Zi?”

By now, Sakyamuni has understood the nature of the battle between transcendents that took place in the Buddhist world tens of millions of years ago.

It was an unexpected ambush, but also a destined one.

“The will of heaven is unpredictable, only the virtuous can hold it.”

“The fact that our Buddha was able to monopolize the golden lotus for tens of millions of years and finally escape successfully is a manifestation of great merit and virtue.”

The person who said this was Amitabha Buddha, an ancient Buddha before Sakyamuni.

The reason why the ancient Buddhas are listed separately is that their original bodies have long since disappeared, and what remain in the world are basically their incarnations and reflections.

It is precisely because of the existence of these ancient Buddhas that the wisdom of the Buddhist world has been able to accumulate and become one of the major forces in the heavens and worlds today.

“Amitabha, I never thought that in this lifetime, I would be able to see the birth of another Heavenly Father!”
