The Golden Elixir Road

Chapter 208: Direction of Shinto Practice

Chapter 208: Direction of Shinto Practice

A small boat floats in the lake, the clear water ripples with the wind, and a golden dragonfish leaps up, shining brightly and splashing large amounts of water.

The little guy lay on the small boat, quiet and peaceful, his whole body glowing, with wisps of divine light shining, reconstructing the runes in his body and blending with his flesh and blood.

He comprehended the original true solution, gained a deep understanding, surpassed his previous cognition, understood the most fundamental meaning of the rune, and began to rebuild the blood-moving realm. One by one, light spots appeared, like gods and demons from heaven, living in his body, chanting scriptures for him, protecting his form, feeding his spirit, allowing him to be reborn and becoming stronger and stronger.

The effect was amazing. The tiny thing glowed continuously like a stove. From the inside out, lines appeared on its surface, crystal clear and brilliant.

The little one was half asleep and half awake, putting all his attention into it, traveling in a gorgeous world.

Divine light filled the air and took shape outside his body, like piece after piece of divine feathers. Blood surged in the tiny creature’s body, and every drop of blood gave birth to a rune. They condensed together, and the aura became stronger and stronger.

Outside his body, divine light covered it, crystal clear and holy, as if he was about to ascend to heaven, and he sprinkled down large sheets of light rain, illuminating the space between heaven and earth.

The little one closed his eyes, with light flowing around his body and light rain falling, constantly transforming.

The spiritual essence between heaven and earth poured into his body, nourishing his internal organs and flesh, making him look clear and crystal clear. His blood and essence flowed like a long river, as if moving the Milky Way.

Finally he succeeded. He resumed his practice, using the great way of strength as his foundation. He practiced the original truth and achieved perfection in the Blood Moving Realm. He had reached the limit and could no longer go any further.

The little guy opened his eyes, all his divine aura was restrained, and his body was crystal clear, as if it was carved out of divine jade.

He gently waved his little fist, and a rumbling buzzing sound came from the void, as if there was thunder. The villagers looked up at the sky and were surprised to find that it was still clear.

“Grandpa clan leader, I want to go to the second ancestral land.” During dinner, the little one suddenly said.

“Child, you are so young, and your cultivation is not yet strong enough to travel across the wilderness. How are you going to get through?” Shi Yunfeng asked.

The little one shook his head and said, “The Willow God said that the cubs of ancient fierce beasts will be trained on the battlefield. Only by fighting with the prehistoric beasts and tempering in dangerous places can I verify what I have learned and grow quickly.”

“I am going there to hone myself and fulfill my own wish. I will go there to have a look. I will not take any risks. If it doesn’t work out, I will turn back.”

There was another child in the second ancestral land who suffered there instead of him. Xiaobutian was a sentimental person and felt that the child should not have such a fate.

“This…” Shi Yunfeng was a little undecided for a moment and looked at Wang Zizai.

“Don’t worry, let him go, village chief. Although he has only reached the Blood Realm, with his divine power, as long as he is careful, he is capable of crossing the wilderness.” Wang Zizai persuaded Shi Yunfeng.

“Well, but you must be careful, kid.” Shi Yunfeng had no choice but to agree. He touched the little one’s head and reminded him.

“Don’t worry, grandpa.” The little guy nodded heavily.

The next morning, before the sun came out and there was only a red line on the horizon, everyone saw the little one off.

This was the first time he went out alone, and all the tribesmen came, from the elders in their eighties and nineties to the breastfeeding babies, a large group of people came.

Wang Zizai held up a large black iron pot. After everyone reluctantly said goodbye, he handed it to the little one and said, “You are no longer old enough to drink animal milk, so you don’t need the milk can anymore. But you can’t treat yourself badly when you are away from home. I will give you another pot so that you can cook something delicious when you have time.”

“Thank you, big brother.” The little guy took the big black pot, which was bigger than a person. After refining it a little, he made it smaller and hung it around his waist.

Finally, the little guy hit the road, riding a tall and mighty silver unicorn into the distance and waving his hands vigorously towards the back.

With a “whoosh” sound, a golden light rushed up, quickly chased after it, and hung on the unicorn’s tail. It was Zhu Yan, whom the little one named Maoqiu.

“Wang…Teacher…” Da Huang looked at Wang Zizai with eager eyes. He also wanted to follow the little one to gain experience and see the world outside.

“Go if you want to.” Wang Zizai nodded.

Da Huang has the Supreme Bone in his body, and with the cultivation method created by Wang Zizai specifically for him, his strength is no weaker than that of the cubs of the ancient fierce beasts at the same level, so he will not be a drag on the little one. “Yes, teacher!” Da Huang shouted happily, chasing after the unicorn, which was famous for its extreme speed.

In the sky, three green-scaled eagle cubs, Ziyun, Dapeng and Xiaoqing, cried loudly and followed. After sending them for more than a hundred miles, they returned reluctantly. Their strength was still too weak and they were not suitable for long journeys in the wilderness.

The little one went on a long journey, and the others also dispersed. Under the leadership of Shi Linhu, they all began to practice.

Wang Zizai turned his head and looked at Liu Shendao: “Daoyou, you practice Shintoism. I have a Shinto scripture here that may be of some use to you.”

“Oh? I wonder which sutra it is?” Goddess Liu asked curiously. Wang Zizai seemed a little mysterious in her eyes.

“The Sutra of Rebirth in Hou Tu!” Wang Zizai said.

According to what we learned from the Buddha that day, Hou Tu was the only person in the world who had transcended through Shintoism, and Willow God also practiced Shintoism. The scriptures he left behind would surely be of help to Willow God.

After thinking it over carefully, God Willow said, “Forgive my ignorance, but I have never heard of this Shinto scripture.”

Wang Zizai didn’t take it seriously. It would be strange if Willow God had heard of it before. He then recited the scripture directly:
Dust returns to dust, earth returns to earth, and the soul returns to Hou Tu. However, you do not need to feel pain or sorrow. Death is the cycle of life, without any cover-up, hypocrisy or darkness.

I transformed into the six paths to prevent you from disappearing and falling. The Tao never despises, it is the origin of the universe. Looking from the high, there is no need to despise. The high does not exist to abandon the low, but only to protect and guide. It is to let you know that you are the seeds of eternity, but I am your parents, guiding you on the path of truth. Before that, I wish to protect you in every life.

This wish is my great practice and also my fundamental method.

After Wang Zizai finished reciting the scriptures, Willow God remained silent for a long time. After a long time, he said, “So the essence of Shinto practice is protection and guidance!”

Willow God began to reflect on whether he had ever looked down on people of low realms and mortals. It seemed that every Immortal King was unconsciously superior to others, and felt that those below the Immortal King were all ants and could be killed at will.

Compared to other Immortal Kings, Willow God had a good temper, but he was still a little indifferent subconsciously. Willow God reflected that he did not seem to treat all his believers as his own children, not to mention the sentient beings who were not his believers.

She fulfilled her duty of protecting all living beings, which was why she could become a great Immortal King. During the ancient war between immortals, she even rushed into the foreign land in rage.

Is it the responsibility to guide all living beings? Liu Shen knew in his heart that everything he did was just for his own practice, and he had never thought about guiding others. Even if he had, it was just by chance, not from his heart.

For example, if it weren’t for the little guy’s extraordinary talent, his survival on his own, and his transformation, which attracted the attention of the God of Willow, I’m afraid that until now, the God of Willow would not have communicated with the people of Shi Village, let alone guided him in his practice.

I practice the way of the gods, but compared with this great virtuous Hou Tu, am I really a god? The Willow God asked himself.

“What realm is this great Hou Tu at?” God Willow asked after a long time.

“It is indescribable and inconceivable. It can be called Hunyuan, transcendence, etc. It has surpassed the imagination of those who practice cultivation. I generally refer to it as a mysterious and unpredictable state.” Wang Zizai said.

“For such a virtuous person, it is normal to have such cultivation.” God Willow said as a matter of course.

Wang Zizai nodded in agreement.

“This scripture from my fellow Taoist has let me know where the future of Shinto practice lies. You have been so kind as to teach me the way, but unfortunately I have no way to repay you.” God Liu said with difficulty.

“It doesn’t matter. It’s a blessing to have one more fellow Taoist on the road!” Wang Zizai said nonchalantly.

Willow God pondered for a moment and said, “My method has some effect on healing injuries. Although it is not as valuable as this scripture, it may be of some use to your current injuries. I hope you will accept it.”

“Oh? Fellow Daoist’s method? Then I won’t be polite.” Wang Zizai said with a smile. This was the first method of the Immortal King that he had obtained.

The only branch of the Willow God turned into light gold, and golden symbols emerged one after another, filled with the aura of the Great Dao, sparkling and dazzling.

The symbols gathered together one by one and finally turned into a most primitive rune and fell into Wang Zizai’s hands.
