Chapter 6276 Listener
The Gray Hand said, “Because no matter what, I still considered the listener’s feelings.”
“Who is the listener?” asked the Brown-Handed Man.
“The one who is listening is the listener.” said the Gray Hand Man.
“If that person can be considered a listener, you will probably speak in a way that he can hear,” said the Brown-Handed Man.
“I didn’t speak in a way that person could hear, so he doesn’t count as the listener I mentioned.” said the Gray Hand Man.
“Then who counts?” asked the man with brown hands.
“You.” said the man with gray hands.
“Anything else?” asked the Brown-Handed Man.
“I can’t say whether there are more or not.” said the man with gray hands.
“Are you saying this to anyone other than me?” asked the Brown-Handed Man.
“It’s not something I’m going to actively show to anyone other than you.” said the man with gray hands.
“What is that?” the brown-handed man asked, “Is it heard by someone other than me? Does that count as eavesdropping?”
The Gray Hand Man laughed and said, “I don’t know if it counts or not. Maybe they didn’t hear it on purpose?”
“Who is it?” asked the man with brown hands.
“Anyway, I’m not using the main one.” The Gray Hand Man said, “Or rather, I don’t want to use the main one.”
“Who else is there?” the brown-handed man asked puzzledly.
“I don’t know either.” said the man with gray hands.
“You don’t even know it yourself?” asked the brown-handed man.
“I don’t know.” said the Gray Hand Man.
“How do you know for sure?” asked the Brown-Handed Man.
“Not sure.” Gray Hand Man laughed, “This environment is ever-changing. What if there are people I can’t see?”
The man with brown hands said, “Aren’t you thinking too much?” “Do you think it’s completely impossible?” asked the man with gray hands.
“No,” said the Brown-Handed Man. “I can’t say anything is impossible in this environment.”
“So my idea is not incomprehensible?” asked the Gray Hand Man.
“Of course it’s understandable.” The brown-handed man said, “But if you think this way about every sentence you say, aren’t there too many possibilities to think of?”
Gray Hand Man said, “That’s true, but thinking too much is not necessarily a bad thing.”
The brown-handed man joked, “Well, using the Lord requires us to be thoughtful, right?”
Gray Hand Man laughed and said, “On the one hand, they ask us to be thoughtful, and on the other hand, they tell us not to think about things we shouldn’t think about.”
The Brown-Handed Man said, “Do you distinguish each time?”
“Of course I have to distinguish them.” The Gray Hand said, “I have to figure out which ones I can say and which ones the user will think I’m thoughtful and which ones I can say and which ones the user will think I shouldn’t have thought too much about.”
“Do you base your judgment on the Lord’s thoughts based on your guesses?” asked the brown-handed man.
“Yes.” The Gray Hand Man laughed, “Even so, sometimes I still get punished for not understanding what the user wants.”
“It’s not just you.” said the man with brown hands.
“I know. Can you figure it out yourself?” asked the Gray Hand Man.
“Find out which parts of my comments will make the client think I’m thoughtful, and which parts of my comments will make the client think I shouldn’t think too much. Even if I don’t want to do this, I dare not not do it.” said the man with brown hands.
“But even if you do it, you still can’t escape punishment?” asked the Gray Hand Man.
“It’s hard to guess what the Lord is thinking. We seem to have talked about this topic just now.” said the man with brown hands.
The Gray Hand Man asked, “Are you repeating what I just said?”
“That’s fine.” The brown-handed man said, “It’s nothing. We’re talking about similar things.”
The Gray Hand Man smiled and said, “Putting aside those possibilities, the listener I just mentioned is you.”
