Iron Snow Clouds
Chapter 6087 Pretend
Chapter 6087 (Six Thousand and Eighty-Seven)
The Gray Hand Man smiled and said, “How is it convenient?”
The brown-handed man said, “Just say you are one too.”
“Does this count?” asked the Gray Hand Man.
“You sound all right?” the Brown Hand asked.
“No.” said the man with gray hands.
“It’s no problem, it’s just convenient.” said the brown-handed man.
“Since you think it’s convenient as long as there’s no problem, then I’ll follow your advice.” said the man with gray hands.
“If you want to follow my advice, then go ahead.” The brown-handed man said, “Anyway, for those who are deeply trapped, some things are not new.”
“Is this, if you put it that way, a sign of deep involvement?” asked the Gray Hand Man.
“Obviously,” said the brown-handed man.
“Is it obvious?” said the man with gray hands.
“Yes.” The brown-handed man said, “Let me continue to tell you what happened after I carried the things on my back.”
“Anything else?” asked the Gray Hand Man.
“Yes.” The brown-handed man said, “After he punished me for the fourth time, he asked me if I had reflected on myself.”
The Gray Hand said, “You have reflected on your answer, haven’t you?”
“Yes,” said the Brown-Handed Man, “and then he asked me what I had come up with.”
“What do you say?” asked the Gray Hand Man.
“I said that I reflected on myself and realized that I couldn’t decide on my own to do anything he didn’t let me do.” said the brown-handed man.
The Gray Hand asked, “What did he think of it?”
“He said that my reflection was too shallow,” said the brown-handed man, “and that I was just that shallow to begin with.”
The Gray Hand said, “He also said that I am so superficial.”
“Under what circumstances?” asked the Brown-Handed Man.
“He once asked me what I had thought about, and after I answered, he said that.” The gray-handed man said. “What was your reaction at the time?” asked the brown-handed man.
“I didn’t dare to react much. I just nodded.” said the man with gray hands.
“Is this matter over?” asked the man with brown hands.
“He spoke before he passed by,” said the Gray Hand Man.
“What did you say?” asked the Brown-Handed Man.
“He asked me if I knew how to think more profoundly?” asked the Gray Hand Man.
“What did you say?” asked the Brown-Handed Man.
“I said I want to listen to him.” said the man with gray hands.
“Did he tell you?” asked the Brown-Handed Man.
“He thinks I’m dependent on him,” said the Gray Hand Man. “Tell me that if I listen to him in everything, I won’t be able to make decisions on my own.”
The brown-handed man said, “That’s what he said to you! Oh, but it’s not new. People like him can always say anything.”
The Gray Hand Man said, “He hasn’t finished talking yet.”
“What else did you say?” asked the Brown-Handed Man.
“You also say that even if someone teaches me, it will take time for a superficial person like me to become profound,” said the man with gray hands.
“Then why did he ask you that question just now?” asked the brown-handed man.
“I don’t know either. It doesn’t seem to make much sense.” The man with gray hands laughed.
The brown-handed man said, “It’s not the first time he asks meaningless questions, so I don’t need to feel surprised.”
Gray Hands said: “He finally said, since I can’t be profound, there is no need to pretend to be profound. My superficiality also has its uses.”
The brown-handed man smiled and said, “He also told you about ‘usefulness’.”
“Yeah, now that I think about it, isn’t it? Tools are just useful as long as they can be used. His use of them is consistent with his usual style.” Gray Hand said, “It’s just that I have never pretended to be profound, nor have I ever intended to pretend to be profound.”
