I am the former civilized hero.

“Everyone, I’m back.”
After the words fell, there was no applause or cheering. It seemed to have aroused some kind of emotion. From Alicia to Padofils, they all stared at him in a daze. Eden wanted to say something but stopped. Qianjie turned sideways and Kevin wiped his eyes.
This sentence is simple, but it is filled with the feelings of each other and fills tens of thousands of years.
Those waiting, those gratitude, those worship, those adoration.
The heavy burden accumulated in the heart makes people not know how to answer. Fortunately, when everyone is at a loss, one person walks forward.
Velvet’s joyful smile never faded as she stepped forward, enjoying the beautiful feeling, and walked straight to Ryan, glancing at Mebius who looked wary.
“Don’t worry, I’m here to complete the commission.”
“What commission?” Ying asked. Fortunately, she didn’t see Wei Wei anymore. “You are now specialized in making counterfeit products. Are you planning to cheat people again?”
“All your items were made by the ‘Trickster’. I am researching another item myself.”
“Okay, you cheated me of so much funding, and I was wondering why it looks fine, but it breaks easily when you actually use it!” Mebius solved the problem that had puzzled her for years. Before she could settle the bill, she saw Vivi handing over an item with both hands.
It was a golden key that fell steadily into Ryan’s palm.
“The tools for pioneering are complete. You will open up the future yourself, and I just need to be a witness.”
The key was very light, but Ryan felt it was heavy. He gave Wei Wei a look of gratitude. As expected of the “joy” who saw through everything, it was really wonderful to give a push at this time.
Just like Alicia couldn’t bear to leave her friend, many people didn’t have the courage to leave the comfort of their homes, and he would hesitate as well.
“Thank you, but I will still settle accounts with that ‘pornography inspector’. Tell her to be prepared.”
“It doesn’t matter. She will use everything she has learned in her life to resist. It won’t be easy for you to defeat her.”
It seems that what she has learned all her life is not the healthy stuff.
Ryan was stunned for a moment, then decisively picked up the key and turned it gently in the starry sky. From Ying Jie nearby to the warriors in the distance, no one knew what he wanted to do.
woo-
A sound similar to the sound of air was heard, and suddenly an elegant antique train appeared in the starry sky. It drove along the azure track of light and stopped steadily in front of Ryan.
“A Thousand Worlds and One Vehicle? So this thing fell into Weiwei’s hands?” Alicia was surprised, and then she became eager to make a move.
She saw the light track extending towards the sea of stars and disappearing into a tunnel-like space, as if there was no end.
“Well, it took me more than two thousand years to create this masterpiece, but to activate it, I need Ryan’s power.” Weiwei nodded, grasped the handle, and walked towards the open train door.
“I’m going to go debug the equipment first. Alicia, you can be the navigator. Those who want to be passengers, please hurry up.”
“Hehe, then I’ll give it a try, Weiwei, did you make my room cute?” Alicia didn’t hesitate, stepped on the stairs at once, turned around and blinked, “Lian, hurry up, I want to have a big dinner tonight, don’t let me wait and get hungry.”
Passenger No. 2 got on the bus. After Ryan promised her that he could come back to visit at any time, Alicia did not question it at all and accepted it happily.
“Let me make dinner, Ryan. I’ll make tea for you. Remember to drink it while it’s hot.” Ying followed and took out a small tea box from her arms.
“Wait a minute, Sister Ying, I’ll come and help too.” Hua jumped up directly. She didn’t think too much about it. She just wanted to tell Ryan about what happened over the years after getting in the car.
There were four passengers now.
Ryan stood next to the ladder and glanced to his side: “Mebius, are you going or not?”
“Hmph, how dare I go up if the master hasn’t even invited me?” Mobius snorted, but he was actually regretting it in his heart.
If I had known, I would have been the first one to rush over, pull Ryan up, and then weld the car door shut.
“You’re the only one who’s always bothering me.” Ryan rolled his eyes and put his right hand on his chest like a doorman. “Please come in, my most respected guest.”
“Let me make it clear, it’s the hostess!” Mabius emphasized, then held Ryan’s hand and stepped up the stairs gracefully, “Hurry up, and come to my room as soon as possible. I have something to tell you. Don’t worry, it’s definitely a good thing.”
The astringent smell could not be concealed at all. Ryan swallowed his saliva and estimated that he would be very busy in a while.
When Mebius got on the train, he straightened up again and looked at the people in front of him. Almost all of his friends were there, just like the passengers on the platform.
“You guys are coming too?”
“Anyway, Suo is dead, there is nothing to do, and you can come back anytime to see different scenery.” Mei said simply, with curiosity in her eyes.
This woman has arranged everything again. That’s right, Weiwei couldn’t hide the content of her research from her.
Ryan took half a step aside and made a gesture of invitation, then watched Mei and Kevin lead the way, followed by Qianjie and Liudchina, and then Kosmo, Eden, Aponia, Ling, Grayshu and others walked by one by one.
Some were chatting and laughing, some were nodding, some were looking around, and some were full of curiosity.
When he came to his senses, he found that all the friends who had come to greet him had got on the bus. Most of them did not stop for a moment, as if they were joining an interesting journey, and each of them was full of energy.
Well, it seems that I can’t escape this dinner. I can’t leave the table unless I get drunk.
Ryan was slightly startled. In fact, he had a lot to say, but he didn’t want to stop there. So, riding the train towards the unknown while eating melon seeds and chatting with the closest people was the best of both worlds.
He glanced at the silent battlefield and then at the azure star not far away. It was still bright and magnificent, with its light track surrounding it like a winding ribbon, one end of which was connected to the earth and the other end immersing itself in the azure vortex in the dark universe.
It looks like the relationship between a platform and a tunnel, one side is the known and the past, and the other side is the unknown and the future.
Ryan squinted his eyes and stared for a long time, then he gently scratched the door, leaving a few words carved with a knife:
“Golden Courtyard”.
As for why this name was chosen, there seems to be no need to explain anything. Leaving a legend is enough.
He turned around facing countless puzzled looks, knowing that the scene just now was very strange to people of this generation.
I have met countless legendary heroes and am about to witness a new journey, but everyone is confused and has no idea what is happening.
But no one dared to ask, just like the crowd seeing off a person, looking forward to watching the legend embark on another journey.
“Hey, wait a minute, Kiana!”
Ryan stopped as soon as he stepped onto the first step. He could feel a white-haired girl rushing towards him quickly, and her relatives and friends who wanted to stop her quickly.
People of this generation really don’t know what happened, but they understand that it is not something they can participate in. It is even difficult to understand. It would take days and nights to explain it and they won’t even have a clue.
Is this courage or fate?
Ryan slowly turned his head, his gray eyes reflecting the girl who was breathing heavily. She looked nervous, yet full of courage. When she saw the expressionless face of the man on the steps, several familiar figures behind her became even more nervous.
Cecilia, Siegfried, Mei Raiden, Himeko Murata, Bronya, which one is the white-haired version of Yulande?
Ryan stood on the steps and looked at them. In fact, he did not release any oppressive force, but it made everyone unable to breathe. After all, this was a super strong man who could gather the Star Destroyer Gun and annihilate Suo in an instant. A breath from him could bring death.
Fortunately, this person must be a big shot from the Fire Moth and a friend of Old Ancestor Kevin. At most, he will hold Kiana accountable for her rudeness, and the old man will calm down after a spanking.
But Ryan was not angry, and tilted his head slightly: “Qiana, it seems that you have a lot of questions?”
“Huh? You know me??”
Paramecium has a strong intuition, and Ryan didn’t know how to answer the question. He thought about it and shook his head gently like a senior master.
“It doesn’t matter that I know everything.”
The level of prestige was just right, and even old man Kevin, who stuck his head out of the train, seemed to believe it, so of course no one would question it.
“Well, I was completely confused the whole time. If I let you leave like this, I will definitely not be able to sleep for a long time.” Kiana nodded heavily. There was nothing I could do. I just couldn’t hold it back.
I can only say, you are worthy of it.
“You are very honest and brave. How about I answer a question for you?” Ryan said with a smile. He even felt a little kind, as if he was looking at his niece.
“Ah? Just one? I have a lot of questions.” Kiana was very disappointed, which immediately made Siegfried and others who had just breathed a sigh of relief very angry.
Hey, how are you talking like that? And what’s wrong with Kevin’s expression? It looks like he wants to raise his seniority?
Fortunately, Kiana couldn’t see Kevin’s conflicted expression. She tilted her head and thought for a long time, then asked a question that she cared about the most but was the most worthless.
“Uncle, who are you?”
Uh, didn’t you hear his name was Ryan just now? I just told you who Ryan was half a day ago, have you forgotten it so quickly?
Bronya was suddenly at a loss for words, and then she realized that this big shot hesitated in the face of such an idiotic question, and even his eyes became unfocused.
Yeah, who am I?
A pioneer? A savior? A hero who transcends the end? Or a human named ‘Lion’?
Ryan didn’t answer. He turned around and stepped onto the stairs one step at a time. With every step he took, countless images emerged.
Fifty thousand years ago, in the middle of fifty thousand years, and fifty thousand years later, there was not only myself, but also Mei and Alicia, examining the footprints I left behind from countless angles.
These footprints are linked together, just like the light tracks under a train, densely and continuously extending into the distance.
Just when Kiana couldn’t help but want to say that Ryan was “untrustworthy”, the back figure stopped in front of the open door and turned his head slightly.
“Well, I am…”
His tone was a little vague, as if he was immersed in memories, until he took the last step and stepped onto the train, then a decisive tone floated out.
It reached Kiana, reached Mei Raiden, and reached the ears of all the warriors between the Earth and the Moon, and it sounded so resounding.
“Former civilized hero!”
(Complete the book!)
postscript
Dear readers, this is probably the eighth time I have written an afterword for Hedgehog Cat, and also the eighth time I have completed the book.
Every time I come to this point, I always feel very nervous. Fortunately, every time I write to this part, the completion rate is good. I don’t feel sorry for myself because of the fluctuations in performance, nor do I give up halfway because of the difficulties in writing.
To be honest, the postscript is an explanation to you and also a summary to myself.
The idea for this book is because the book by Juggernaut did not win the honor of the best book of the year, and I wanted to start a book with a large readership base.
Later I thought about it and felt that this idea was not mature. After careful consideration, there are only a few points:
First, my old reader group is not very compatible with mobile games, or the focus of mobile games is on “characters” or “Peaches”, especially emotional content, which is really not suitable for my style.
My writing style has been fixed after writing tens of millions of words, and this is not what I am good at, so it is more difficult for me to write.
Secondly, the industry’s dark lamp and the debuff of the popularity genius are no joke. Sometimes I feel that if I had written it last year, when Past Paradise was at its strongest, it would have been much better, because the courage I had to take this step came from reading a certain famous book and feeling that I could write better. Of course, I still think that I wrote better today (at least I finished the book).
Here I would like to thank the collapse scholar of “Prime Minister’s Ambition” for his great help.
So this book was difficult from the beginning. I am very proud of it. Although there were occasional twists and turns and some unsatisfactory aspects in the middle, at least it was completed with quality and quantity. In addition to the problem of material selection, there is another important reason:
After the middle period, Tree’s body couldn’t bear it anymore, it was completely broken. I could have continued with Star Iron, but there was no other way, I could only finish it according to the original outline.
Because I almost felt dizzy when I closed my eyes (the doctor said I had the precursors of a cerebral infarction), it was a struggle to write more than 6,000 words every day, and I relied entirely on my long experience to write. I believe you have noticed this while reading.
But I was afraid that once I stopped writing, I would never be able to pick it up again (the antonym of a pigeon; I would keep writing as long as I had the energy, even if it was only 1000 words; but this is not an advantage). So I started treatment only when I was in the final stage. Your health is the foundation of everything, so I must take care of it in the future.
Fortunately, I finally finished writing it with all my effort and achieved the record of 12 million words!
