Honghuang: Senior Brother of the Chan Sect, I am Guangchengzi
Chapter 163 Entering the Human Race
Chapter 163 Entering the Human Race
Guangchengzi only felt that there was endless water vapor surrounding him, and when he stretched out his hand, he touched various water currents, as if he was really in the ocean.
As the water vapor dissipated, Guangchengzi regained light and looked around, discovering that this was actually Jiutou Mountain, and in front of him was the Five-Colored Lake, the essence of Jiutou Mountain, and the place where the human race was born.
“It seems that there are benefits to obtaining a position of industry. It will be convenient to travel to various places in the prehistoric world.”
Guang Chengzi muttered, “And the Styx Patriarch is also going to seize the position of the Lord of the Primordial Water Element, otherwise it would be impossible for him to bring me from the Filthy Blood Sea to the Five-Colored Lake so easily.
If I can also obtain the position of the Lord of the Zhoutian Starry Sky, I can use the power of the stars to send me to various places in the prehistoric world.”
“If you want to be the master of the starry sky, you might as well tell your master and me. With our help, I don’t think any star god would dare to oppose it.”
Guangchengzi had just finished speaking when a voice with a hint of laughter came from not far away. He was surprised that he had not noticed the person coming. He turned around quickly and found that it was an old Taoist sitting on a green ox who said it.
Seeing the old Taoist, Guang Chengzi immediately bowed deeply and said, “Disciple Guang Chengzi greets Master Uncle. I was just entertaining myself before, but I have polluted Master Uncle’s ears. I deserve to die.”
This old Taoist was none other than Laozi. No one knew why Laozi came to the Five-Colored Lake, nor how much he heard.
And Laozi, who seemed indifferent and inactive in the past, seemed to be in a very good mood today. He even smiled, which was rare for him, and he could even joke with him. It was the first time in the history of the world.
I didn’t care about this, I smiled and nodded and said: “Get up first, I didn’t want to trouble you at first, after all, you are still teaching the Asura clan, which can be regarded as promoting the great way for my second brother.
However, I have had some realizations recently, and it seems that I want to take the last step, so I want to go out for a walk, which can be regarded as a way to experience the world.
Jinjiao and Yinjiao have been lazy recently, causing my furnace of Nine-Turn Golden Pill to be burned. I punished them to stay in seclusion in Bajing Palace, so I asked you to come with me and help me lead the cow. Are you willing?”
Guangchengzi naturally wanted this very much. It might not sound good to talk about pulling the cow ox, but one has to consider who he is pulling it for and for whom he is pulling it.
It is a blessing to lead a cow for a saint like Laozi, and ordinary people are not worthy of doing so.
Then he walked to the side of the green ox and pulled the rope around its nose. The green ox was reluctant at first, but after being looked at by Guangchengzi, it immediately calmed down and let Guangchengzi lead it obediently.
It was not until this moment that Guangchengzi realized how wealthy his father was. He only put a rope on a mount, but he actually used a top-grade innate spiritual treasure to pull it. It was so extravagant, which showed how many spiritual treasures he had on him.
Laozi didn’t care where Guangchengzi was pulling the green ox. He just sat on the ox leisurely, occasionally giving some instructions, which benefited Guangchengzi a lot.
Taking this opportunity, Guangchengzi asked Laozi many questions. Laozi answered all his questions and gave him many ideas about the third decline.
Before they knew it, the two men and the ox arrived at the coast of the East China Sea, which was where Suiren led the human race to migrate.
Looking at the rapid development of the human race here, Guangchengzi nodded slightly, thinking that Suiren was not being lazy.
After nearly ten thousand years of development, the human race has demonstrated its strong reproductive ability and quickly occupied the entire coast of the East China Sea. Even some large islands on the East China Sea were densely occupied by humans.
The Dragon Clan and the Immortal Court also took into account the status of the human race as the protagonist, and naturally did not want to compete with it for such a small benefit, so they all gave in.
None of the human ancestors who were first created by Nuwa are missing and are all still alive. After all, nearly ten thousand years may sound long, but for immortals it is not worth mentioning.
Especially these human ancestors, who were born with the fortune of the protagonist’s race and the supreme spiritual object, the Nine Heavens Xirang. Each of them is gifted, and now the weakest of them has the cultivation of a celestial being.
As the leader of the human race, Suiren also has the inheritance left by Guangchengzi. He has already achieved the Golden Immortal realm and can even peek into the Taiyi Golden Immortal. It won’t be long before he can step into it.
After all, it was the spirituality of the gourd vine. Although it was not a whole-body transformation, it was a foregone conclusion that Suiren would become a Daluo Jinxian. Now it was just a matter of time.
However, although Guangchengzi led Laozi into the coast of the East China Sea, leading the green ox, he did not alarm Suiren, but quietly entered a tribe.
Compared to those big tribes, this small tribe is obviously much weaker. There are only a few cultivators who are close to becoming immortals. Moreover, looking at their basic cultivation, Guangchengzi also feels that they don’t have much chance of becoming immortals.
It’s not that these people are not talented. The human race is favored by heaven, so there is no such thing as weak qualifications. It’s because there is a problem with the cultivation methods of these people.
These techniques are too powerful.
That’s right, these skills are so powerful that as long as they are slightly activated, infinite spiritual energy will immediately pour in from all directions, forcibly improving their cultivation.
This is naturally not a bad thing for those innate creatures. They are born with strong bodies, and these skills can help them practice faster, but this is not the case for humans.
The human body was too weak to withstand such spiritual energy irrigation. Even if they could barely withstand it, their roots would be almost completely destroyed. Except for a few extremely outstanding human cultivators, most human cultivators could only stagnate after barely reaching a certain level of cultivation. It was difficult for them to continue to achieve success. Forcing themselves to continue would only endanger their lives.
They have no future.
Guangchengzi had no choice but to see this. After all, he was born with the origin of the Yin-Yang Ancestor. He had the cultivation of a Xuanxian from birth, and it didn’t take long for him to reach the Golden Immortal realm.
Afterwards, he worshipped Yuanshi Tianzun as his master, and along the way he comprehended various great principles. He took the heaven and earth as his teachers and nature as his law. There was no such thing as practice method at all.
Although he had the “Yuxu Yuanshi Jinzhang” and the “Xuehai Minghe Zhenjing” on him, the methods recorded in these two classics were very powerful, and it was difficult for him to use them, and they were even less suitable for the practice of these human beings.
If one had to create a set of exercises suitable for human practice, then these exercises would almost certainly contain Guangchengzi’s innate consciousness, and would inevitably have some grand and open artistic conception.
Moreover, it is difficult to suit all human beings. Maybe they are not as good as those who practiced before, so naturally they are helpless.
It’s like the world has been in ruins for a long time. It would be difficult for him to start doing laundry, cleaning, lighting a fire and cooking.
The group of people did not disturb any monks. They just quietly entered the tribe and watched the many mortals recuperating here.
After nearly ten thousand years of evolution, today’s human race no longer has the great supernatural powers that they did before. Instead, they have gradually become ordinary people. Their lifespan is still a thousand years old, but it has begun to slowly decrease. The new human race only lives for more than nine hundred years.
Guang Chengzi was puzzled by this and asked, “Master, the human race is the protagonist race, why is its life span gradually decreasing, and it even has no innate magical powers?”
Laozi sat on the green ox, and without opening his eyes, he said slowly: “It is natural that it will develop towards the acquired, just like Hongmeng gave rise to chaos, chaos became Pangu, Pangu opened up the primeval world, the primeval world evolved into the innate, and the innate became the acquired. This is a gradual process.”
Guang Chengzi was even more puzzled and asked again: “Why should the innate be reduced to the acquired? Isn’t it better to continue to be the innate?”
Laozi finally opened his eyes, and it seemed as if thousands of meteors passed through his eyes, but in the end they gradually turned into black and white. He shook his head slightly and said, “This is naturally very bad.
Previously, I was in the Queen Wa Palace, talking with several junior brothers and sisters. Junior brother Jie Yin once told me a truth, which is birth, existence, destruction and emptiness.
As the saying goes, there is no death without birth, so if there is life, there will be death. This is the destined outcome, and the same is true for the primordial chaos.
Hongmeng existed for too long, so it died and turned into chaos, but chaos also existed for too long, so it began to gradually die, and finally gave birth to the great god Pangu. The great god Pangu was the result of the evolution of chaos, so he was able to open up chaos into Honghuang.
Then Honghuang took over the position of Chaos and re-established itself in this great universe. However, if Honghuang existed for too long, it would also die. It is for this reason that the Heavenly Dao evolved the position of saints, so that many saints could help Honghuang exist.
What Junior Brother Jie Yin talked about regarding birth, existence, destruction and emptiness is just like this. Creation is existence, existence is continuation, destruction is destruction and emptiness is nothingness. Since it is a world, it cannot escape the four principles of birth, existence, destruction and emptiness, and the same is true for the ancient world.
But Junior Brother Yuanshi also said that since we cannot avoid it, we might as well accept it. The prehistoric world has passed the “formation” and has fallen between “staying” and “destruction”.
Rather than letting the bad completely affect the wild world, it is better to gradually change the wild world. Since this wild world is going to fall into the void, then just jump out of this wild world and enter that wild world. “
Guangchengzi also understood a little bit. A world is destined to be destroyed from the moment it is born, but the way of heaven does not want to be destroyed, so it evolved the position of saints to let the saints help the prehistoric world survive.
What Yuanshi Tianzun meant by “this primordial wilderness” and “that primordial wilderness” actually refers to the innate and the acquired.
Hongmeng and Hunchun are gradually destroyed because they have existed for too long. If Honghuang continues to remain the same, it will have to face the end of Hongmeng and Hunchun.
Therefore, the ancient world must keep changing in order to maintain its activity and keep away from destruction.
In the process of change, the original primitive world was destroyed, but the new primitive world still existed. The cycle of birth, existence, destruction and emptiness continued, but the primitive world could always remain in the first two states, and naturally it would never be destroyed.
This transformation between innate and acquired is a kind of change.
The innate primordial world died, and what exists now is the acquired primordial world, which is naturally different from the former.
Seeing that Guangchengzi seemed to understand, Laozi gave him some pointers, saying, “The acquired is not necessarily inferior to the innate. The acquired also has the opportunity to achieve the great Dao. In the chaos of the past, in addition to the great god Pangu, there were other lives.
But can these chaotic beings defeat the many great gods of the prehistoric world? I don’t think so.
We, the saints of destiny, have decided that the prehistoric world must constantly change in order to survive. We must not fall into the void, and at least leave a place for all living beings to attain the Great Dao.”
