Hogwarts: Voldemort, don’t stop me from studying

“Yes, Professor.”
Wade responded and followed behind, seeing those people floating upright, their heads banging against the wall, and their bodies banging against the iron frame.
Soon, the room was silent, save for the occasional flash of Madam Pomfrey’s magic.
When passing the previous operating room, Wade saw the messy footprints and bloodstains on the ground, and thought of the boy who could not be saved, and sighed.
He waved his wand, and under the effect of the cleaning spell, all the messy traces on the ground disappeared.
Then Wade threw away the box he had carried along the way and placed the organs inside with the boy’s head and the bone he had picked up from the ground.
Professor Snape found an empty room, knocked those people unconscious, tied them up and threw them inside, then the two of them searched the area separately, and found a few people who were sleeping, slacking off, and writing reports, and took them all under control.
“What will happen to them?” Vader asked.
“There will be a place for them in Azkaban.”
Professor Snape saw that Vader looked somewhat disapproving, and added: “Believe me, that is more terrible than death… and they won’t survive long in that kind of place.”
Wade nodded. Seeing that Professor Snape had no intention of killing these guys directly, he naturally did not raise any objections.
He just dragged the man with glasses out again and asked, “Professor, do you have the truth serum with you?”
Snape looked at him deeply and asked, “What do you want to do?”
“Of course we should interrogate this guy.” Wade said naturally, “They must have many accomplices. This guy seems to be of high status and should know more information.”
Snape looked a little strange. After a pause, he didn’t say anything. He just nodded and said, “Leave it to me. You stay here and protect Poppy and the child.”
“Okay,” said Vader.
He was completely uneasy about handing over the follow-up investigation to the Ministry of Magic, but there would be no problem if it was handed over to Professor Snape.
Snape was stunned again by Wade’s straightforwardness. He looked at Wade, wanting to say something but stopping himself. Finally, he took the man with glasses away silently.
When he was walking back and forth before, Snape also stepped on the blood on the ground. When he walked out this time, he left a string of red footprints at the door.
Wade looked at the footprints, and in a flash, several images flashed through his mind –
When I flew over with Mabel, there was a series of bloody footprints at the door.
What happened next? What did they see before that?
A man was shot in the forehead and fell to the ground, with a pair of fallen glasses hanging in front of him.
Some people look like two different people with and without glasses.
Therefore, when Wade saw the bloody footprints, he suddenly remembered that he had seen the man with glasses who was taken away by Snape once before.
Thinking of the gunshot wound on the other party’s forehead, Wade’s expression became slightly serious.
But Madam Pomfrey was still concentrating on treating Hayley, and Vader couldn’t leave them both behind.
The last two puppets with combat capability were left to Haley before time went back. Although Michal was powerful, his body made of fire could not withstand cold gunshots.
It can instantly burn the guy who fired the gun, but –
“You can’t change the history that you’ve already noticed.”
This is the rule of reversing time.
If it really changes, it doesn’t mean that the user of the time turner will die immediately or suffer misfortune. The Ministry of Magic just warns that it must never be done.
Wade suspected that this would be equivalent to creating a parallel time and space, and the user would be left in the new time and space.
After thinking for a moment, Vader took off the wire cloak he had been wearing and whispered a spell that he was familiar with. Rays of light fell on the cloak.
After a moment, the wire cloak “stood up”, took two shaky steps, slid a short distance, and then hopped back to Vader.
Because copper and silver were used in its production, after the magic was cast, the cloak looked sparkling, just like a fairy tale dress woven with sunlight and moonlight.
So Wade cast another Disillusionment Spell on it, and the cloak turned into the same color as the surrounding environment, and its outline was vaguely visible.
It suddenly bent its hood down and started spinning around in a circle, almost like a puppy trying to find its tail.
“Stop playing around.” Vader tapped his cloak with his wand and said, “You know what I want you to do.”
The cloak, which was infused with thought by Vader, immediately straightened its posture, nodded, and flew off in the direction where Professor Snape left with a whoosh.
As for Wade who stayed behind, he frowned and looked around, then waved his wand and changed everything back to what he had seen before.
……
Snape didn’t know that the students behind him were worried about their safety, but he was also thinking about Vader at this moment.
Sometimes, he felt that he could see the shadow of the Dark Lord in Vader, who was even more ruthless and indifferent than that man.
Although he himself had not experienced Voldemort’s youth, through Wade, Snape could fully imagine what a brilliant and cold-blooded young man he was.
But soon, he felt that these were all his illusions, and Wade was still the smart and upright student.
He told himself that it was normal for young people to shout for war and killing in the heat of the moment, especially boys in their teens, who had no idea how precious life was and were more likely to talk about death all the time.
Just like himself, when he was young, he cursed James Potter and the other four to die early every day, and sincerely hoped that those people would die tragically at his hands.
Of course, the hatred has not subsided until now.
When he later joined the Death Eaters and saw his companions killing people, Snape didn’t feel much – he didn’t feel excited and revelry like Bellatrix, nor did he feel disgusted or resistant.
Snape once longed to gain the favor of the Dark Lord, climb to a higher position, and gain greater power.
Until that day… until he saw the person he loved the most turned into a cold corpse…
The Potions Master squeezed his eyes shut, trying to pull his mind away from the painful memories.
He knew that Wade in the original timeline would arrive at this place soon. In order to avoid interference, Snape first took the man with glasses away for a distance, found a secluded place, and then dripped the truth serum into his mouth.
The man with glasses opened his eyes dazedly, his expression empty and confused.
“Tell me.” Snape asked softly, “What are you doing here? Who is the mastermind behind this?”
“I… We are conducting research on gene editing… exploring the feasibility of allowing humans to acquire magical genes… and obtaining the secret of wizards’ longevity…”
Snape was stunned for a moment. This answer was something he had not expected and he did not understand it.
“What is gene editing?” Snape asked.
The man with glasses said in a flat tone: “This is a revolutionary biotechnology that has only been proposed in recent years. It uses gene editing tools to modify specific targets in the genome of an organism, and efficiently and accurately inserts and replaces the genome, thereby changing the genetic information of the organism.”
“Humans and wizards have most of the same genes. We believe that the reason why ordinary people cannot use magic is because some of the genes in their bodies are not activated.”
“As long as we can lock onto this part of the magic gene, even an ordinary person can be transformed into a wizard. Even if there is no magic gene, perhaps it can be replaced and reorganized in the offspring…”
Snape: “…”
He decided to skip the parts he didn’t understand, interrupted the glasses man’s chatter, and got straight to the point: “Who told you to do this?”
“It’s the leader.”
“Who is the leader? What’s his name? Where can I find him?”
“I… I don’t know… The leader never appears in front of us…”
“How does he convey orders?”
“Send an email.”
Snape took a deep breath and said, “Tell me everything you know… For example, who is the mastermind of this island?”
The man with glasses’ eyelids trembled, and after a moment’s confusion, he said, “Of course it’s Zeke.”
“Tell me about this Zeke…”
Snape hadn’t finished speaking when he suddenly frowned and looked behind him.
Something was flying towards him through the wind. Was it… an invisibility cloak?
During flight, the effect of the Disillusionment Charm was not very obvious. Snape could clearly see the outline of the cloak, and even recognized from the size that this was the one that Vader had just put on.
Snape was stunned for a moment. Seeing the cloak flying towards him, he didn’t know whether to dodge or catch it. In a moment of hesitation, he was covered by the cloak.
The cloak moved flexibly, wrapping Snape in an almost hugging position.
Due to the length, Snape’s upper body became vaguely visible, but his calves were still exposed, which looked a bit scary.
The man with glasses, whose mind was controlled by the truth serum, was not disturbed. With trembling eyelids, he began to answer questions.
“Zeke…Zeke is a close confidant of the top management. I heard that he was sent to this place because he offended the wizards in the organization…He doesn’t understand technology at all, and he is moody. He is only willing to pay…”
Snape tried to pull the cloak off to no avail, and only tore the hood off his face, but his ears keenly captured the key information –
“Wizards in the organization? Your organization still has wizards?”
“Of course! They are…”
“Bang! Bang!”
Before the man with glasses could finish his words, a bullet pierced his forehead.
He fell straight back and hit the wall with a thud. His glasses slipped off, his mouth opened wide, and blood flowed down his nose.
Another bullet headed for Snape’s forehead, but was blocked by the hood of his cloak, which rose in time.
Snape staggered back two steps, twirled his wand, and quickly cast a complete Disillusionment Charm on himself, hiding himself along with his cloak.
Only then did he realize what had just happened.
The invisible wizard quietly left his original place and stood at the corner of the other wall. Then he saw a group of fully armed soldiers protecting a man and a woman, walking towards him quickly.
“Who is that guy talking to?” the man with the ponytail said angrily. “Who did he leak the secret to?”
The two soldiers trotted quickly and vigilantly to the body of the man with glasses, checked it, and fired several shots at the open space around it, shattering the glass and light bulbs.
“Report, no one.”
“He should have escaped.” The woman in red frowned and said, “Is Upton a traitor?”
“It must be! Didn’t you see he was meeting someone just now?”
Zeke, the ponytailed man, was angry but with a hint of relief, and couldn’t wait to push the blame for the loss of the base away.
“No wonder we set up so many anti-wizard measures, but were still sabotaged by someone – it’s because there was a traitor who leaked our defense arrangements and attracted external enemies!”
Veronica, the woman in red, nodded without comment, frowned and said, “Upton is here, then…the organs they want over there…”
“Don’t worry about that!” Zeke said decisively, “The magnetic field has been destroyed. The most important thing now is to escape. Tell the people in the laboratory to hurry up. I can wait for them for five more minutes at most!”
