Harry returns from Hogwarts Legacy

Chapter 250 Aren’t you planning to sleep in the same bed with Pote?
“Bertha Jorkins?”

Mr. Bagman snorted, as if the name made him feel overwhelmed.

“She’s nowhere to be found,” said Bagman blandly. “But don’t worry, she’ll turn up – poor old Bertha . . . Her memory is as leaky as a cauldron, and her sense of directions is terrible. I think she’s lost, believe it or not – anyway, I think she’ll wander back to the office sometime in October, thinking it’s still July.”

“After all, she is missing now. Don’t you plan to send someone to look for her?” Mr. Weasley tentatively suggested. He felt that as a colleague, it was reasonable and moral that he should send someone to look for Bertha.

“That’s what Barty Crouch keeps saying,” said Bagman, his eyes wide and innocent, “but there’s really no one to spare right now. And ah – here he comes! Barty!”

A wizard strode over from a short distance away, forming a stark contrast to Ludo Bagman, who was lounging on the grass in his old Wasps robes.

Barty Crouch was a man in his fifties, with a straight back and stiff movements. He wore a spotless suit and tie; his short and sharp beard looked as if it had been trimmed with a ruler.

His shoes were polished to a shine, and his entire outfit was meticulously done.

It is not difficult to understand why Percy admired him so much. After all, Percy always advocated strict discipline, and Mr. Crouch meticulously abided by the Muggle dress code. He did it so authentically that he could have pretended to be a bank manager.

Seeing old Barty Crouch coming, Percy’s face was suddenly flushed with a flattering blush.

“I suspect that Percy licked old Barty’s shoes until they were shiny.” Fred whispered to George, “If I hadn’t known his last name was Weasley, I would have thought his last name was Crouch…”

The two of them really couldn’t stand Percy’s behavior. Even Charlie and Bill couldn’t help but frown when they saw Percy’s look.

A bit too flattering.

“Sit down and rest for a while, Batti.” Ludo said happily, patting the grass beside him.

“No, thank you, Ludo,” said Crouch, a hint of impatience in his voice. “I’ve been looking for you everywhere. The Bulgarians insisted that we add twelve more seats to the top box.”

“Oh, that’s what they wanted!” Bagman said. “I thought they wanted to borrow a pair of tweezers. Their accents are so thick.”

“Mr. Crouch!” Percy was so excited that he was breathless.

He leaned forward and made a bowing motion that made him look like a hunchback. “It’s nice to meet you, Mr. Crouch!”

“Oh,” said Mr. Crouch, looking at Percy with a little surprise, “well—nice to see you, too, Weatherby.”

Fred and George nearly spit their tea out of their cups with laughter. Percy’s ears turned pink and he pretended to look down at his shoes.

Mr. Weasley next to him had a gloomy face. Unlike the twins, he was Percy’s father after all, and he couldn’t just join in on the gloating.

“Shame on you,” Ron muttered, his head bowed, and he was obviously embarrassed.

Because of Percy’s flattery, but also because he felt embarrassed that his flattery was not taken seriously enough.

“Let’s go eat something over there.” Vivi pulled Harry’s sleeve, wrapped her arms around his arms, and said, “I’m a little hungry, Harry.”

“Okay.” Harry nodded and said, “Come on, Kate, let’s go and take a look around.”

The three of them walked to a stall selling grilled sausages and sandwiches and sat on small stools nearby.

“I want three grilled sausages and three sandwiches.” Harry picked up the menu and handed it to Cassandra. “I want tuna, how about you?”

“We are the same.” they said.

Weiwei suddenly whispered, “What do you think of the International Magic Exchange and Cooperation Department?”

“Uh…” Harry didn’t know what Vivi meant, and asked in a low voice: “What are you talking about?”

“I mean,” Weiwei chuckled, “what do you think of this department? For the Godfather – I think he is suitable to work in this department, starting as director.”

“Huh?” Harry was confused.

“Has he lost his mind?” Cassandra curled her eyes and lowered the corners of her mouth. “Grindelwald, you just met the director of the Department of International Magical Exchange and Cooperation, right? Old Barty Crouch, do I need to remind you of this?”

“Of course I have my reasons for saying this.” Weiwei’s fingers moved carelessly on the table. “Just wait and see. The position of director of this department will be vacant within three months…”

“Mr Crouch is going to be promoted?” asked Harry.

“Oh.” Weiwei raised her eyebrows. “You can say that – anyway, if you want, the Godfather can become the director.”

“That’s a good thing!” Harry said with a smile, “What a perfect result! Mr. Crouch gets promoted, and my godfather naturally becomes the director of the Department of International Magical Exchange and Cooperation… Is there anything better than this?”

Yet Cassandra instinctively felt that something was wrong.

Harry didn’t notice anything was wrong because he trusted Vivi.

Cassandra felt something was wrong because she didn’t believe anything the woman said.

Promotion?

I’m afraid he will be promoted to heaven?
But Mr. Crouch had nothing to do with Cassandra after all, so she was too lazy to expose the matter.

What does death or life have to do with her?

Oh…that also matters.

At least you have to keep a distance to avoid being splashed with blood.

“Do not worry.”

Vivi picked up a disposable paper cup, poured some tea into it, and handed it to Harry.

“It should be said that such paper cups should not be included in the ‘Misuse of Muggle Articles Ordinance’. At least in this World Cup ceremony, I think it is a wise choice to use such Muggle creations.”

Indeed, there are many people with mysophobia like her.

“Where are you going to stay tonight?” Harry started to be dishonest again. “Stay in the tent of the Austrian Ministry of Magic? Or come back to our place?”

Of course, Vivi heard the hidden meaning in Harry’s words. She smiled and said to Harry, “If Kate agrees, I will come back to you.”

Cassandra narrowed her eyes. She had no idea what Grindelwald was up to.

So she crossed her arms and asked, “Why do you need my permission? Aren’t you going to sleep in the same bed with Pot?”

“Yes~” Vivi gently stirred the paper cup with a small spoon, “But now, aren’t you the one warming Harry’s bed? The little ~maid~?”

Cassandra was stunned.

Cassandra was silent.

“Stay away from my memory!” she said bitterly. “Oh~” Vivi chuckled and said, “I didn’t peek into your memory, Kate – you should have confidence in your own brain occlusion skills. I just made a small prophecy once when I was at the Black mansion.”

Cassandra couldn’t control the strength of her hands and crushed the paper cup in her hand.

So annoying!

“You’d better come back tonight.” Harry said quickly. He was really afraid that Cassandra would get breast nodules due to anger. “I just happen to have something else I want to tell you -“

“That’s right.” Weiwei said with a smile: “I almost forgot, how can I ask the maid for permission for such a matter? It would be more useful to ask the master, don’t you think? Little Maid Kate?”

Cassandra glared at Harry fiercely, as if she wanted to cut a piece of flesh from his body.

Harry scratched his head, he had no idea why Cassandra was coming for him.

After teasing Cassandra, Vivi felt refreshed.

After she made her little prediction, she didn’t think of doing anything to stop it from happening. After all, it was just warming the bed, not getting in the car.

So Weiwei was confident of winning and didn’t care what happened between the two of them.

“Come to think of it.” Harry began to make small talk: “Where did you take the four professors? I’ve been to the Chamber of Secrets once… but it’s a pity that they’re all gone now.”

“Oh.” Weiwei said without blushing, “At that time, I was planning to leave England and go to Austria, so I thought that after I left, I wouldn’t have many opportunities to return to Hogwarts to visit the professors, so I took them all away – I’m sorry that I didn’t inform you about this.”

“That’s fine.” Harry scratched his head, “It’s just that when I was learning Occlumency with them before, my progress was a little slow.”

“right.”

Vivi looked at Harry with a half-smile, but did not use any Legilimency.

“So how are you practicing now?” she asked.

“How about…” Harry asked tentatively: “Why don’t you try it?”

Weiwei wasn’t fooled at all. She squinted her eyes and smiled and said, “I won’t.”

Harry was disappointed and was still thinking about how he should find an opportunity to trick Vivi and experience the maid service.

It should be said that the sandwiches at the camp stalls taste pretty good, otherwise I wouldn’t have the confidence to open a snack stand here.

But the price… was quite expensive. A pot of tea, three sausages and three sandwiches cost a total of one Galleon, eleven Sickles and three Copper Knuts.

Weiwei was heartbroken. She argued with the stall owner for a long time and finally negotiated the price down to one Galleon and two Sickles.

“I really can’t believe that a noble lady like you would actually bargain for the price.” The stall owner was also a little indignant.

“But your price is really too high.” Weiwei did not forget to make excuses for herself: “Even in such an activity area, this price is extremely unreasonable – I think you can make at least twice the profit for the price of one Galleon and two Sickles!”

The stall owner sighed and could only blame himself for his bad luck.

I had originally thought I could make a ton of money from this event, but unfortunately, I only made this little from my first business deal.

“have a look.”

When leaving, Vivi even boasted to Harry: “Isn’t my sister awesome? I saved you nine Sickles and three Knuts. Here, they’re for you.”

She stuffed the coins in her hand into Harry’s pocket.

“You’re awesome.” Harry gave a thumbs up. With a Vivi at home, it would be hard not to be rich.

When they returned to the tent, they found Ludo Bagman and Barty Crouch inside, chatting with Mr. Weasley.

I thought their conversation had ended long ago, but I never expected that they would continue until now.

Percy was still serving Mr. Crouch carefully, like a loyal servant.

As soon as Harry and his friends entered the tent, the twins followed them back.

“Ah!” Seeing Percy’s humble look, Fred sneezed unhappily to express his dissatisfaction.

Oh my god, having a brother like this is really…

Shame on the Weasleys!

Mr. Weasley seemed not to notice how attentive Percy was. He automatically filtered out the situation and asked Mr. Bagman, “Honestly, I imagine you’re all just dying for this to be over?”

Ludo Bagman was taken aback at Mr. Weasley’s question.

“I wish I could?! Merlin’s beard, I’ve never been happier… But there’s hope ahead, isn’t there, Barty? Hmm? We’ve got lots of things to organise, haven’t we?”

Mr. Crouch raised an eyebrow at Bagman, stopping him from going any further.

“We promise not to announce it to the public until all the details are—”

“Oh, details!” said Mr. Bagman, waving his hand dismissively, as if to shoo away a swarm of mosquitoes. “They signed it, didn’t they? They agreed to it, didn’t they? I’ll bet you the kids will find out soon enough… I mean, the big thing happened right at Hogwarts -“

“Ludo, you know we need to go meet those Bulgarians,” Mr. Crouch interrupted Bagman sternly. “Thank you for the tea, Weatherby.”

He pressed the unfinished cup of tea back into Percy’s hands and waited for Mr. Bagman to rise.

Sirius, who had been holding the teacup beside him, finally couldn’t help it. He corrected coldly: “His last name is Weasley, Barty!”

“Oh, okay.” Old Barty turned around nonchalantly and apologized to Percy: “Sorry, Weasley, I’ve been very busy lately and can’t remember some things – Ludo, we should go!”

Percy didn’t seem offended at all, instead he kept saying it was okay.

Seeing Percy like this, Mr. Weasley sighed.

Mr. Bagman struggled to his feet and drained his tea in one gulp, the Galleons jingling merrily in his pockets.

“See you later, then.” Mr. Bagman waved them off. “Once I’ve dealt with that Bulgarian annoyance, I’ll be back to chat with you again, Arthur – it’s always a pleasure to chat with you.”

After they finished talking, they left the tent.

When he reached the door, Mr. Crouch glanced at Vivi with a gloomy look.

Weiwei gave him a deadly look in return.
