Harry Potter Returns from Baldur’s Gate

Just as Harry wanted to explain the difference between undead creatures and normal creatures, and how necromancy affects people’s minds.

James, who was nailed to the floor, suddenly spoke.

“Harry, you nailed me to the ground just to ask about the whereabouts of Draco’s parents? You should have said it earlier. There’s no need to make things like this.”

As he spoke, James turned his gaze to Draco standing beside him.

“Draco, your mother is in the secret room behind the wine cabinet. You should know where that secret room is, right?”

As soon as James finished speaking, Harry and Draco looked at James with suspicion.

It was as if he was planning some conspiracy again.

Seeing the looks between Harry and Draco, James forced a stiff smile on his face.

“Don’t look at me like that, as if I’m a bad guy. I’m only here to bring you a message. Even this fight was started by you.”

James turned his gaze to Black.

“I swear in the name of Lily and Harry, there are no traps or ambushes there, only Narcissa. Draco, you can go pick up your mother without worry.”

After hesitating for a moment, Draco immediately ran towards the secret passage that James mentioned.

“So, can you let me go now?”

James turned his gaze to Harry.

“You know, being nailed to the floor is not a pleasant experience. If I were still alive, I would definitely be dead now. Fortunately, I died, so I am still alive now.”

As if amused by his own pun, James began to laugh hoarsely.

“Harry.”

Black looked at James who was nailed to the ground, and there was a hint of pleading in his voice.

Harry looked at Black in front of him, then looked back at James who was nailed to the ground.

He shook his head firmly.

“Sorry, I’m afraid not.”

After saying that, Harry walked over to James and looked at his father’s withered face.

“One last question, where is Draco’s father? And where is Voldemort?”

James shook his head at what Harry said.

This time there was some disappointment in his eyes, as if Harry didn’t know how to play Quidditch and was terrible at Transfiguration.

“Harry, you are at Malfoy Manor. Even if Draco is your friend, you should know which side the Malfoys were on during the last war.”

James said in a tone as if he was explaining homework to Harry.

“Malfoy Manor has enough building area and is old enough with a large number of secret rooms and secret passages. Lucius Malfoy was once one of the first Death Eaters to defect to the Dark Lord. He not only has a lot of money, but also has a good relationship with the Ministry of Magic. So, Harry, tell me, if you were the Dark Lord, where would you choose as your base after you return?”

Seeing that Harry in front of him didn’t say anything, James spoke in a disappointed tone, as if Harry had even got 1+1 wrong when doing homework.

“Lucius contributed Malfoy Manor as the Dark Lord’s base this time. Where do you think he would be now?”

James looked at Harry with his eyes flashing red.

“As a loyal follower, of course, to the Dark Lord, Harry.”

Harry looked at James’ eyes that were flashing red. Although he felt that James was telling the truth now, the difference between the truth and the truth had been shown to Harry many times by Evil Thoughts.

However, after finding out the whereabouts of Lucius and Narcissa, Harry silently stepped back a few steps and no longer looked at James who was pinned to the ground by him.

Harry knew that the longer he watched now, the harder it would be to do it later.

Now Harry just had to wait for Draco to return with his mother Narcissa before he could take action.

Just as Harry quietly stepped away, Black came up.

“Hey, Prongs.”

“Hey Padfoot, how are you doing? I heard you went to Azkaban for ten years, how was it there.”

Black sat down on the ground next to James.

“It’s terrible. You won’t find anywhere in the world where the food is worse than that. What’s worse is that there was a typhoon and the Ministry of Magic never thought of installing glass in the cell windows. I don’t have a wand.”

“So in order to prevent myself from drowning there, when a typhoon comes, I have to block the windows with everything I can find, but there is no toilet in the cell, only an ordinary bucket, so…”

“Ha ha ha ha……”

Hearing Black’s words, James laughed heartily.

“It’s the same. When I opened my eyes again in this skeleton, I felt like I was stuffed into a puppet with rusty joints, you know…”

Looking at James lying on the ground, Black was silent for a while.

“James, over there, what’s it like?”

“Over there? You mean the Dark Lord?”

James pouted.

“It’s boring. I spend most of my time in the secret room with nothing to do…”

At this point James turned his gaze to Harry again.

“Harry, think about putting Lily and I into the Gwent card. This card is really interesting.”

Noticing Harry didn’t respond, Black shook his head.

“James, you know that’s not what I’m asking.”

“Oh, you mean that…”

James smiled at the look Sirius was giving him.

“I don’t know. When I climbed out of the coffin, my memory was still stuck on the moment when I asked Lily to take Harry and run away.”

James seemed to remember something when he said this.

“Speaking of which, Sirius, you still owe me two Galleons.”

“Ok?”

“We agreed that if one of us died, the survivor would put two Galleons on the other’s eyes at the funeral. When I woke up, there was nothing on my eyes, just a bunch of dried flowers in my hand. They were sent by Moon Face. What? You don’t even want to come to my funeral?”

Blake’s expression turned awkward.

“I wanted to go…but I was already in Azkaban by then.”

“Okay, I forgive you. Remember to put two Galleons on my eyes later, and don’t forget it when you meet Lily next time.”

Hearing James’ words, Black clenched his fists anxiously, then got up from the ground, walked to Harry’s side, and grabbed Harry’s arm.

“follow me.”

Harry, whose arm was grabbed by Sirius, turned his head and gave Qiu Zhang a look.

Qiu Zhang received Harry’s gaze, nodded and came to James’ side.

“Oh, your name is Qiu, right? How’s things going with my Harry?”

When Qiu Zhang walked up to James, James immediately started chatting with Qiu Zhang.

Black dragged Harry to the corner of the hall.

“Harry, can you not send James away?”

Hearing this familiar question, Harry sighed and began to answer Black’s question using the standard template that a paladin would use when faced with such a question.

“He is neither a living person nor a dead person now. He is a twisted existence in between the two. He cannot feel any warmth, nor can he taste anything. Every day he exists in this world, he is accompanied only by biting cold and emptiness.”

Harry looked Black in the eyes.

“He is not a living person, nothing in the world can warm him. He is not a dead person, so he will never be able to rest in peace. Are you sure you want him to continue to exist like this?”

Harry reached out and patted Black’s shoulder.

“He was already dead. We didn’t kill him. We just freed him from this miserable state so that he can rest in peace.”

After hearing what Harry said, Black still shook his head.

“Harry, I asked Neville to call for help before I came. Now let Dumbledore take a look. At least let Dumbledore take a look.”

Looking at Black, Harry nodded.

“Okay, just…”

Before Harry could finish his words, Draco’s anxious voice was heard in the hall.

“Harry! Come help! My mother says worms are eating her brain! And you know what that is!”

124 Harry! Cho is a good girl! I agree with whatever you want to do!

Harry was experienced in having bugs in his head.

Thanks to Captain Evil’s mouth that could even trick the devil into committing suicide, there were three bugs rolling around in Harry’s mind at most times.

During that time, Harry felt like he was a human mind flayer.

If there is anything worse in the world than having a bug in your head that is turning you into a monster.

Then it means that you listened to the nonsense of your “teammates” and stuffed two more into your own head, so that now there are four of you and you can almost form a team of adventurers.

Although the bugs didn’t eat Harry’s brain, the feeling of having those bugs rolling around in his brain behind his eyes during that time was far from pleasant.

So much so that during that time, Harry would hold the hilt of the sword from time to time and stare at Evil’s neck with a very friendly look.

As for how to remove the worms in the brain, Harry has seen many treatment options.

From a Githyanki “purification chair” to a certain bard’s icicle.

Although Harry had not personally experienced all of these wild and crazy treatments, he had watched the entire treatment process, so he could be considered a veteran and had seen a lot.

So when he saw the pale-faced Narcissa being supported by Draco into the hall and sitting on the chair that James had sat on.

When Draco shouted to Harry in a voice as if it was not Narcissa’s brain that had a bug, but his brain, “Harry! Voldemort said you have a way to deal with this bug! You’d better think of a way!”

Harry walked up to Narcissa, observed her for a while, and then asked her only one question.

“How long has that bug been in your brain?”
