Chapter 234 The Development of 4Hai Group and Xingzhou Group
Chapter 234 Development of Sihai Group and Xingzhou Group
After dealing with all the potentially exposed mobile base stations and weather stations near the mainland’s coast, Wang Jiankun went ashore in Hong Kong.
There, he secretly met with Pan Hua, the CEO of Sihai Group, and Zheng Tianming, the CEO of Xingzhou Group.
After such a long period of contact and a series of loyalty tests, the two of them went to the Myanmar base to receive the implantation of brain-computer chips.
Therefore, it was very convenient for Wang Jiankun to contact them, and he didn’t have to worry about making them suspicious because of his appearance.
“Commander, after receiving the news, I have asked the manager in charge of shipbuilding in the group to formulate a plan for developing the mainland market. An action plan should be ready within a week. This year, we will be able to select sites for construction of three small and medium-sized shipyards in the upper and lower reaches of the Yangtze River.” Pan Hua, president of Sihai Group, said when reporting to Wang Jiankun in the conference room.
“Very good. Our previous plan was a bit conservative. Since this year, the mainland’s policies have become more and more open. There are no obstacles to the shipbuilding industry, which can improve the domestic economic and technological level. So we should do it as soon as possible and do it boldly.
As for the type of boat, you can go to the riverside to inspect and confirm it, and pay attention to the cost performance, so that the average boat boss can afford it. “
“Understood. We have an economic inspection team in the mainland. I will assign tasks to them. It is not difficult for us to manufacture those small flat-land transport ships. It’s just that we don’t have enough manpower for the time being.”
“If there are not enough people, we will increase training and let those new human engineers take more apprentices. In addition, the speed of brain-computer chip implantation is accelerating. You can also start selecting some people within the group. Try to find those with simple identities and no family concerns. After passing our polygraph test, they can be sent to Myanmar for brain-computer chip implantation. In this way, the manpower problem can be solved.” Wang Jiankun gave his solution.
In order to reduce costs and increase shipbuilding speed, Sihai Group has completely abandoned the previous rivet shipbuilding and wooden parts shipbuilding, and has adopted steel plate welding for shipbuilding.
However, there were indeed very few welders in the country at that time. The joint venture shipyard at the mouth of the Pearl River had already recruited freelance welders from Guangdong and Fujian provinces. In addition, a group of new human engineers created by Wang Jiankun were also sent to the shipyard to perform welding work on important parts while guiding the newly recruited apprentices.
However, training in welding technology requires a relatively long time. The initial training requires at least one month. If you want to let them weld the hull with confidence, they must complete at least three months of systematic training, and they may often face rework after welding.
Therefore, in order to speed up the development of the shipbuilding industry, Wang Jiankun had to speed up the implantation of brain-computer chips, and also planned to expand the scope.
Previously, they had always been selected from within the Quanjie Formation, and they were all old members who had joined the Quanjie Formation for many years.
Now he decided to start slowly from each group company, implanting brain-computer chips into some members who have passed the assessment, so as to speed up the development of each group company.
“Chief, isn’t this a bit risky? After all, the mainland’s intelligence penetration capabilities are very strong. If our lie detector fails to detect it, the brain-computer chip will be exposed to the mainland government.” Pan Hua said a little worriedly.
“Boss Pan, you don’t have to worry about this. Our brain-computer chip has insurance measures. Of course, these domestic personnel will have the lowest authority. They will only be given memory packages of certain necessary skills, and other functions will not be opened for the time being.”
“That’s great. I’ll have the human resources department conduct an investigation and screening and send them to Myanmar as soon as possible for the brain-computer chip implant surgery.”
“Okay, after I finish talking to General Zheng, take me to see the shipyard. It’s been such a long time, and I haven’t been there.” Wang Jiankun ordered.
“Okay, I’ll go make the arrangements first. You can talk to President Zheng slowly.” Pan Hua said as he left the meeting room and closed the door.
After Pan Hua left, Zheng Tianming, who was in charge of the communications business of Xinzhou Group, came forward to report on his work.
“Chief, over the past six months, Xingzhou Group has completed the communication construction and operation work in SZ City in the mainland. In addition, it has laid some SMS base stations in Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand in Southeast Asia, Mozambique, South Africa, Kenya, Tanzania, Egypt in Africa, Argentina, Paraguay, Uruguay, Chile and Brazil in South America. I have uploaded the specific number and location of base stations in each country to the central computer, and you can check it.
Mobile phone base stations are currently only installed in Singapore and Thailand in Southeast Asia, South Africa and Egypt in Africa, and Brazil and Argentina in South America, because only these countries have the economic development level to support mobile phone consumption. Of course, Persia in the Middle East is our largest customer at present. SMS base stations have covered 80% of the territory, and mobile phone base stations have also covered more than 10 major cities, and are being vigorously built. “
Zheng Tianming reported on the current SMS and mobile phone businesses of the Sin Chew Group. Wang Jiankun listened while using a brain-computer helmet to review the data uploaded to the central computer.
It is indeed as Zheng Tianming said, the current Sin Chew Group’s business has taken root in Asia, Africa and South America, and is still developing rapidly.
“Can we find a way to enter this European region? If we use the name of the British Empire, maybe we can,” Wang Jiankun asked.
“To be honest, we’ve tried, but the Europeans are too conservative. They have several established telecom equipment manufacturing groups, such as Sweden’s Ericsson, Germany’s Siemens, and France’s Alcatel. These three telecom equipment manufacturers have very close relations with telecom operators in European countries. As soon as we made contact, they found out and stopped us. Now these companies are suing us for patents, trying to force us to share some of our mobile communication patents with them.” Zheng Tianming said.
“Oh? Are Europeans so blatant?”
“Yes! They are so arrogant, but after all, they have been developing for hundreds of years, and many basic patents belong to them. It is basically impossible for us to circumvent them, so we are likely to lose this patent lawsuit.”
“What will happen if you lose?” “You have to pay a fine and agree to some of their conditions. Otherwise, not only will you not be able to enter the European market, you will also not be able to enter their former colonial markets. They will close them down.”
“They control the colonial markets so strictly? It seems that we have to fight back. The European domestic market will undergo major changes in a few years. Our current strength is not enough, so let’s not consider it for now. Let’s start with their colonial markets. It happens that we already have forward bases in Africa, Southeast Asia and South America. It’s time to let them move.” Wang Jiankun said after thinking about it.
Next, he asked about the progress of base station construction in other provinces and cities in the mainland. Currently, Jiangxi Province, BJ, Shanghai, and Guangzhou are the fastest, with dozens of base stations under construction. Other provinces and cities are still training employees of state-owned enterprises and the progress is relatively slow.
After listening to the report, Wang Jiankun had a meal with the two presidents.
After dinner, he acted as Pan Hua’s entourage and went to the joint venture shipyard built at the mouth of the Pearl River.
They entered the Pearl River from the sea by boat. From a distance, they saw a large shipyard emerging from the sea on a mudflat coast.
After getting closer, Wang Jiankun saw that the shipyard had 10 land slipways, 3 dry docks, and two larger docks were being excavated. More than a dozen large excavators were digging the soil.
After docking at the shipyard, Wang Jiankun followed Pan Hua and carefully inspected the shipyard.
那10座陆地船台都是用来制造小型船只的,主要是制造C-200,C-800这两种运输船以及26米到40米左右的渔船。
The C-200 model is mainly supplied to domestic shipping companies.
The C-800 is mainly supplied to Myanmar, and is also used for Pearl River and near-shore transportation.
The three dry docks are used to build medium-sized sea vessels.
At this time, two 5000-ton bulk carriers and one 8000-ton bulk carrier are being built in the dock.
Bulk carriers are very suitable at present. There are not many container loading and unloading berths in the loading and unloading areas of ports in economically underdeveloped areas. The same is true for major domestic ports, so this shipyard mainly manufactures bulk carriers.
Don’t underestimate these bulk carriers. Currently, there are only about 5000 in the world that can build ships of 10 tons or above, and only a few docks in domestic shipyards are capable of manufacturing them.
The larger the ship, the higher the strength of the ship’s steel plates, especially the keel steel. Otherwise, it would be difficult for the ship to remain safe and sound on the sea with strong winds and rough waves.
The two dry docks currently under construction are of 2 ton and 5 ton classes respectively.
In the future, we will manufacture 10,000-ton bulk carriers, container ships and tankers.
Once the manufacturing process of 10,000-ton shipbuilding is mastered, these skilled workers will share their memories of being on board while being transferred to Myanmar’s military shipyards to manufacture large warships, submarines, etc.
Because the manufacturing process of civilian ships is not particularly different from that of military ships, welding is the most labor-intensive part.
The steel used in warships is stronger and thicker, so it is more difficult to weld, but it is not a problem for skilled workers.
Another thing is the cutting and curling of the steel plate.
Wang Jiankun has been having new human engineers conduct a series of experiments at the base in northern Myanmar, intending to manufacture welding robots and 3D CNC plate bending machines.
Once the experiment shows results, it will be sent to a shipyard in Myanmar for trial use. At that time, we will provide technical and equipment support to domestic shipyards depending on the situation, so that the development of the domestic shipbuilding industry can overtake others and catch up with and surpass the United States, Japan and South Korea.
After taking a careful look around the shipyard, Wang Jiankun left quietly. He did not go back with Pan Hua, but went to Guangshi to take a flight to Myanmar.
Because the war of unification was about to begin, he had to meet with several leaders of the Quanjie Alliance, and then go to several continents to stir up some trouble to distract the attention of several major countries.
