Chapter 158 The Antler Serial Murders

In the spacious and comfortable bedroom, Captain Kevin lay on the bed, his whole being consumed by self-doubt about life.

Kevin was originally quite satisfied with his life as the captain of a special agent team under the Seattle field office of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

After all, he was just an ordinary unemployed white male worker. Before joining ICE, he could even be described as a jobless drifter, making a living by doing odd jobs every day.

The real turning point came a few years ago with the Occupy Hill movement.

Everything changed when he attended that massive gathering of the MAGA community across America online and successfully stormed Capitol Hill.

He was first thoroughly investigated by members of the KMT and almost imprisoned for treason.

Then, after the current president's dramatic rise to power, everything changed again.

He was directly recruited as an agent of the Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) branch of Immigration and Customs Enforcement, becoming a key member of the ICE immigration enforcement line.

Since then, he has earned a high salary of $15 a year, which not only enabled him to take out a loan to buy the big house he has now, but also to own a new car.

He even married a tall and slender MAGA woman.

I'm lying right next to him now.

Even when the government was shutting down, Kevin's salary still rose to $18 a year.

He was extremely satisfied with his life of being both white and professional, which he considered perfect, and even had the illusion that America was becoming great again.

Until two days ago.

When he received a tip and went to the street known as "Saints Street" to arrest the illegal immigrants, the nightmare began.

Not only was his own action thwarted, but having dozens of guns pointed at his head terrified him to the point of wetting himself and losing all face.

Moreover, he discovered that he had health problems after that arrest operation.

There are things that men can do, but he can no longer do.

Inability to perform erections.

"Kevin, darling, are you still thinking about your work? But now is family time, my time..."

His wife, Tracy, spoke in a languid voice in his ear, and then she climbed onto him.

His wife's voice, which had sounded like heavenly music to Kevin, now sounded like a death knell to him.

Kevin quickly pushed his wife away, and said somewhat awkwardly:

"Tracy, darling, I'm... I'm a little tired today..."

He had already taken two small blue pills, but they had no effect whatsoever; he felt as if he were under a curse.

All of this left him feeling extremely fearful and frustrated, yet he was unable to explain the truth to his wife.

After all, no man wants to admit to his partner that he is impotent.

This is simply the greatest blow to a man's self-esteem.

His wife, Tracy, frowned but didn't say anything. Instead, she got off Kevin, turned her back to him, and remained silent.

Being rejected by her husband for two or three consecutive days made Tracy think about many things.

Kevin realized he had managed to fool them again.

However, this cannot continue indefinitely.

Because the time required to book a doctor's appointment is so long, possibly several months, and by then he might already be divorced, Kevin has secretly gone to a small clinic in the community for a checkup.

The answer he received was similar to the reason he gave his wife:

I'm too tired, the pressure is too much, I need to rest.

But only Kevin himself knows just how enjoyable his job really is.

Every day, I get paid a high salary to arrest those damn illegal immigrants and beat up those damn liberal sanctimonious people who dare to stop me. It's incredibly satisfying.

pressure?

Too tired?

Are you kidding me?

The more this happened, the greater Kevin's panic became.

He's only in his thirties, is he really going to become an impotent good-for-nothing?

He's only been married for a short time!

Especially for white rednecks, being unable to have sex is a huge joke and puts them at the very bottom of the social hierarchy.

He didn't even dare let his wife know about it.

The more Kevin thought about it, the more anxious he became.

Lost in thought, he suddenly remembered what some ICE agents had said: that the homeless people all called Bruce Wayne "the saint."

He is said to be a powerful street medium who can cure many illnesses through exorcisms using only his hands.

It's like a fucking weaker version of Paula White.

Kevin never doubted anything about mediums, exorcisms, or blessings.

After all, the current president was elected and became the master of America again thanks to the prayers of those masters, led by Paula White, the White House Director of Faith.

Could it be that I was cursed because I offended Bruce Wayne?

Or perhaps it has nothing to do with the other party?

Should I go to Bruce Wayne to exorcise the evil spirit?

The other party has been protecting those illegal immigrants and homeless people on the streets. As an ICE agent captain, if I were to go and confront this person, it would be tantamount to openly bowing down and admitting defeat...

Just then, a low sobbing sound came from behind, and Kevin realized that his wife Tracy's shoulders were trembling slightly.

She's crying!

Oh, God!

Kevin immediately felt his heart breaking and rushed forward to hug his wife, Tracy, saying:

"Tracy, darling, what's wrong? Why are you crying?"

Then the newlywed wife choked up and said:

"Kevin, I didn't expect you to get tired of me so quickly... If I've done anything wrong, please tell me instead of torturing me like this..."

"Oh my God..." Kevin quickly hugged his wife's shoulders to comfort her, "I'm really just too tired from work, I've been under too much pressure lately, tomorrow night... tomorrow night for sure!"

He knew that as a white woman, his wife Tracy was already quite considerate and emotionally stable.

If it were any other traditional white woman, she might have already gone berserk and unleashed a barrage of taunts and insults at him.

This even caused her to have a complete emotional breakdown, leading to the breakdown of their marriage.

Damn it, tomorrow, I absolutely have to go find that Wayne, that saint!

God, please bless that Bruce Wayne is truly a saint capable of exorcising evil...

The evil spirit inside me is far too powerful...

……

The Deer Antler Serial Murders?

Wayne raised an eyebrow and looked at the policewoman Eileen in front of him.

Eileen took a deep breath and quickly said:

"The Seattle Police Department's historical archives contain numerous unsolved cases, some of which date back to the founding of the United States..."

"This antler serial murder case is one of them."

"In the 1920s, there was the naked body of a young woman." She was found at the dock in what is now a tourist area, with a pair of deer antlers stuck in her head, embedded in her brain…

"This is the earliest documented case of the antler serial murders."

"The second recorded case was in the 40s, during World War II, involving two teenagers, and again, deer antlers were inserted into the heads of the corpses..."

"In the decades that followed, and even now, every few years or a decade or so, similar cases occur, and the common feature of the corpses is that they have deer antlers stuck in their heads..."

"The most recent case was in 2020, when a young homeless pregnant woman died in a tent on the street, and she was wearing a pair of deer antlers on her head."

Wayne asked:

"Has the case remained unsolved for so many years?"

Eileen shrugged and said:

"Over nearly a hundred years, seven or eight suspects have been arrested, but the cases continue to occur. This case is famous throughout Seattle, and many subsequent cases may well be copycats of the original."

"You mentioned the Deer Antlers Society, which reminded me of this case. I wonder if the two are related..."

After a pause, Eileen continued:

"But this is the first time I've ever heard of the Deer Antlers Society..."

Based on her previous experience, Eileen knew that Wayne's clues were never unfounded.

It could even be said that each instance is almost a truth.

Regardless of whether the Deer Antlers Society organization is related to the Deer Antlers serial murder case, it must be hiding some unspeakable evil.

These bastards must be brought to justice.

Wayne asked in a gentle voice:

"Eileen, aren't you afraid? This is related to a former Seattle city councilor, and it's different from the last human trafficking case."

Eileen paused, then shook her head solemnly and said:

"Sir, with you behind me, I have no fear whatsoever."

Wayne nodded and said:

"Very good, Eileen. Tomorrow is Christmas Eve, and there will be a grand celebration on this street. Remember to come to my tent, and I will bless you."

Eileen was overjoyed and quickly said:

"Thank you, sir, I will definitely come!"

Then he solemnly said:

"Sir, just as you said, there has been a force within the police department trying to obstruct the witness protection program for those girls... As you instructed, I brought them here, and Old Will has taken them to... to the shelter..."

She had always had a vague idea that Wayne and his core followers had a secret sanctuary.

Unfortunately, she never went.

Wayne nodded slightly and said:

"Eileen, good girl, you did a great job. Now you can go back."

Isn't he going to invite me to the shelter...?

A flicker of unspoken disappointment crossed Eileen's mind, but she still nodded obediently and said:

"Yes, sir, I'll come again tomorrow."

With that, he turned and left.

After Eileen left, Wayne went into the abandoned warehouse next door and followed the secret passage into the Bronze Sanctuary.

Four unfamiliar faces appeared in the bronze shelter.

These are four Latina girls, the same four girls who were rescued from the yacht in the last human trafficking case.

Isabella and Helena were watching over the four of them, chatting happily.

Upon seeing Wayne appear, the four exchanged glances, approached him, knelt down with their hands in a prayer gesture, and wept.

He said:

"God bless you, Saint!"
